I was in one of my local Walgree's this morning and I noticed that they had some half ounce bottles of Philosophy fragrance sprays.  One of them was Inner Grace. The price is $16.99.  Because stock in Walgreens can vary from store to store, the Philosophy fragrances may not be available at the location where you shop.  If your preferred Walgreens is one which has had the Boots makeover in the cosmetic dept. to include more prestige brands, they might have them.

I read that here before so when I went to Walgreens I got the Inner Grace (for $13 something with the 20% discount). Inner Grace was the only one I really liked so I was so happy to get it but when I wore it it didn't smell how I remembered. I don't even think I like it much anymore, so disappointing.

It would be interesting to see if anyone else tried it that felt the same.

Re: Philosophy Inner Grace

[ Edited ]

Philosophy discontinued Inner Grace at least two years ago (after Coty bought them out), so how is it now appearing in Walgreen's?  And at such a cheap price?

Inner Grace eau de parfum was a rich, fragrant perfume; my favorite.  I'm sure it became too expensive for Coty to continue to offer it in its original formula, so I'd be skeptical of any new version, especially anything called a "fragrance spray".

I still have bottles of the original eau de parfum and I'll eke that out until the end, then find a different perfume.

Coty changed just about everything in the philosophy line and not for the better IMO.

A year ago January (or Dec) I bought a TSV from QVC.  In it were supersized Falling in Love Perfume, Body Cream and Shower Gel. When I wore both the body cream and the perfume, it was no longer apparent even by the time I got into my car in the morning.  DH couldn't detect any scent!  I used up the perfume anyway and continued to use the body cream but I got half way through the cream when it stopped being fragrant ~at all~!  I closed up the jar tightly for a few days just to see if I could detect some scent when I opened it again.... no.

The only item of the three that continued to have a wonderful scent was the shower gel but it dissipates quickly because of what it is.

From that point on I have not and will not buy Philosophy products again.  I believe Coty has ruined them too....

I've seen Amazing Grace at the Walgreens I shop at.

LIVE JOYOUSLY smells identical to Inner Grace.  I still buy Live Joyously though I believe it's being discontinued.

They did that same set as a TSV shortly after Coty took over.  I ordered it in the AG fragrance and it was exactly the same - nothing!  No scent at all and no one I asked about it could smell anything.  One even asked "What am I supposed to be smelling?"

I sent it back as defective and have steered clear ever since.  There were a lot of bad reviews at that time saying the same thing.
