It seems he is on the new weight loss high....every show he loves to hear people tell him how great he looks and he has to say he lost 40 pounds not eating pasta or anything yummy...and that his waist is at 32 inches.... When the complements stop....that will be when he will see if he can maintain the loss. Pasta and bread will be calling his name. LOL!

The audacity! Just imagine a person who has successfully lost weight actually enjoying hearing compliments. The nerve of him.
I'll take that over a bitter-sounding person who looks forward to gloating over some perceived inevitable failure. Scadenfreude, they call it. Very unappealing.

I think you mis-understood my post. I don't feel in the least betrayed because I don't use his products or Dr. Danese's products because I find them to be over priced and over hyped as far as what they can accomplish. Using 5 or 6 different products on my face twice a day in the hopes of staving off the inevitable signs of aging skin we all face is a waste of money. Save your money and use it on fillers or a more permanent surgical procedure but those fancy creams and serums are hocus pocus.

I think he's a very handsome man. Very good looking and makes a nice appearance.

Regarding skin care experts getting surgical work done on their faces.... I truly don't care however what an honest representation it would be to have them say "I have ONLY used my skin care products on my face for the last 10 - 15 years and what you see with me is generally what you can expct from my products".
Having surgical work done (or fillers, laser work, etc) without disclosing the fact gives the impression that the vendor looks the way they do because of the products they sell. That is the logical conclusion... and one in which they would prefer not to discuss and never do unless a bunch of customers start discussing it on a message board somewhere....... then and only then do they tend to admit it (re: Dr. Denese).
If no one ever raised the spector of the possibility of surgical work it then becomes the elephant in the room and the prospective customer looks at the representative and goes "wow", if I use those products I might look like them....
I don't personally think that PTR has had anything radical done to his face. His features look the same to me as before (just thinner) and I think the loss of 40lbs and the new beard has given him a new look and he DOES look great IMHO. Congrats to him for his hard work... and I do think that he uses his own products religiously.

I totally agree! PTR lost 40 pounds (most likely has also worked hard at the gym) and grew out some amazing facial hair that is groomed perfectly for his face shape!
It is rare that I like a man's facial hair, but it is working for him!
He looks so handsome.........

What you said was "If I had spent a lot of money on outrageously overpriced skin care products that promise me younger looking skin and then found out that the creator or vendor for those products had undergone plastic surgery I would also feel very betrayed."
What Tinkrbl44 said in response was that you should not feel betrayed because good skin care products and surgical procedures are not mutually exclusive.
I think that her point still stands, even though you were not speaking directly about yourself.

I think he looks great. I definitely don't think he had plastic surgery. I think he should be proud of his weight loss.

The TSV is another PTR winner!
I agree.

The same comments were made when it became obvious that Dr. Danese had gone under the knife. These vendors sell a bill of goods about what their product lines can do to stave off the natural effects of aging.
Oh Please Kathy. Dr. D, Christie Brinkley, Adrienne on HSN, and the now-deceased Dr. Brandt, along with plenty of others who sell skin care ,have had plastic surgery. You'd then feel betrayed by most of them. I have no idea if Peter had it or didn't, but I don't care. His products, along with Retin A, work for me. I can use the Retinol PM on my neck as I don't break out with it. I can't use Retin a as I get a rash ( on my neck).
I'd assume Perricone has had work done, and who knows if Dana or Lesley Blodgett or anyone else who sells products have gone under the knife. I don't care as long as they don't look like freaks or the joker.
