I still find this to be incredulous! I'm thrilled to know you are experiencing a beneficial improvement too. Bravo!!!
I guess I am more of a sagger as opposed to wrinkles as I age. Oh the joys of gravity. Fortunately I inherited some good skin genes, but here's a scary thought..perhaps I should use this full face now? Lest I end looking like a bulldog down the line. Ouch!
This is very pricey. It's the most I've spent on any product. Definitely less than seeing a Doc for some kind of procedure, at least shorter term...
I do hate what's changing on my neck. (who wouldn't! ) Google Kybella. This is a new heat treatment for the neck. Pretty amazing! I got wind of this last June when Allergan bought the parent company, Kythera, as a stock play. VERY impressive before and afters.
One question I'd like to ask being you use Perricone. Do you know off an eye treatment that reduces puffiness? I'm interested in the upper eyelid specifically. Especially the inner corners where I seem to be getting a pooch. I wonder if this is fat? I had my upper eyelids done 15 years ago, hooding, from Dad. Now some crepiness but the poochy thing bothers me the most. I know there isn't a needle in a cosmetic bottle but thought I'd ask!
I'm off to pick up a pet Rx at a far away Costco. It's inconvenient but I'll save hundreds of $$$ compared to other local sources. Costco also has a discount insurance plan for uninsured family members even if they have four legs and a tail!!! Love!
@rochelleS LOL! Bulldog? ha! I continue to enjoy how you write....down to earth.
You do know what a Shar Pei looks like, don't you? Don't ever get that way! ha!
I checked out the Kybella as you suggested. Okay, the word injections made me get off the site pronto. ha! I dread needles big time. But you are right; great results in those pictures.
As to your question about suggestions for eye treatment, I know people will have a lot of suggestions for you. I personally use Perricone's Re:Firm for the eyes. It works the same way as his regular Re:Firm for the face does......tightens up the skin a few minutes after applying. Not sure if you have seen the demonstration on that, but you might want to check out the videos on QVC in the product area.
The Re:Firm for the eyes says to use it under the eyes to tighten up that area. A little goes a long way. There have been times when I have forgotten and put it on the lid too. ha!
For the eyelid area I use his Acyl-Gutathione Eyelid Serum, which has taken care of the crepiness for me. Both of the products suggest going beyond the eye area, to the sides. You know, the Cleopatra look.
Every time there is a thread where people talk about their favorite Perricone product, the Acyl-Gutathione always gets mentioned (it also comes in a form for the rest of the face, not just the eyelid area).
The Re:Firm Eye and Facial products are kind of freaky. When you first see them, they are like a white gel. You rub a small amount between your fingers, warming them up, and they become a clear serum. Then you apply.
When Dana demonstrates them, she shows you inside the jar and how it is a jello consistency. She takes some out, making an indentation in the product that remains in the jar. After a few minutes she shows you the inside of the jar again, and the stuff has gone back to its regular smooth consistency, no indentation. In other words, it bounces back....tightening up in the jar. That's to show you that once you put it on your face/under the eye, it tightens up your skin.
Sometimes I use the Re:Firm facial product instead of the daily Facial Cream (that came with the Conformer), because it dries faster. So when I'm in a hurry, I use the Re:Firm instead.
If you ever saw my bathroom you would think I sell Periccone; I have so much. I rotate the various products, mixing it up once in a while. But I have never paid full price for any of it. Never purchased it anywhere but QVC, and only when they have a special or TSV.
I know, I know.....I'm a Perricone junkie. His stuff just does a great job for me. Every once in a while I will try something else (like Tatcha or TriVectin), but I always go back to Perricone. I really don't like to mix products from different companies, as I feel there is a chance that something from one company might "fight" an ingredient in another company's products.
If you want to get an idea of my skin condition, there is a picture of me on a thread called "New product hints! World traveler scopes 2 and 3," which was originally posted on 3/12/16. It is message #3. Someone kindly put up a Periscope screen shot of my visit with Chaz Dean.
It will give you an idea of how Perricone has taken care of my facial/forehead wrinkles. Although you can't tell from that picture, the neck (right under the jaw area) is very smooth. Doesn't look like it from the angle of the picture, but P's Sub-D has made a huge difference.
Hope this was all helpful!
Long time getting back here. Too much happening on my end. I'd tell you in person but I feel it's inappropriate on a forum.
Nonetheless, my continued use of TSV products has resulted in additional lessening of my lines from nose down to jaw. Under my neck is improving too.
I had an aha (or DUH) moment when I realized the neuropeptide cream has a different night version. I couldn't wrap my head around why a treatment product (tsv) was recommended for daytime application. This puzzled me as I continued to use as directed. From this thread, I jumped into the foray of perricone products and began an overwhelming attempt to learn and comprehend this vast product line. It still makes me dizzy.
I'm still chuckling at myself over the NP nite cream in the black tube. I think I took a big bite of dumb. Okay. ..day = Firmness and nite works on wrinkles. Got it.
Acyl-Gutathione interests me for my creepy lids. But, Beautypedia stated this doesn't firm the lids??? Being pricey, I've retreated for the moment and need to research more. Unfortunately the Q has eliminated many reviews in their website. Boo! If this product were sealed, I'd consider a small bottle from eBay. (I know you don't eBay)
I think the A-CG sounds better for me over the Re Firm. I want upper lid as my primary target area.
So I must share my most remarkable find! It's called SeroVital. An amino acid supplement, supposed to support pituitary function that may improve our skin. I saw it in an Ulta flyer and at Costco. What is this $100 beauty pill??? Read a gazillion reviews. Hmmmm sounds interesting. I made a commitment and jumped in with both feet as of 4-22 with my BFF as my partner in crime joining me.
By the way, I am in No Way affliated with this product. It was just my dumb luck that it appeared in my travels.
Costco had a coupon so I bought some more. They sell a 40 day supply vs 30 day for the same price at retail.
I was pulling out of Costco and my phone rang. I pulled back in to chat with my BFF. We were discussing this product. I rolled down my window and got comfy to chat. I looked in my side mirror and gasped. My face looks flawless, like a mirror! Perricone, SeroVital? Both? Whatever, something is seriously working.
My friend isn't using Perricone. Since March her life has been non stop he11. This has always taken toll on her face. She stated it hasn't gotten worse and two days ago commented that her wrinkles are softening. My 83 year old Mother ordered it AND wants the Perricone TSV - which I can send her on the next A/D.
So here's my story and I'm sticking to it!
‎05-19-2016 04:01 PM
@rochelleS Well, first of all, do I feel dumb! You mentioned in your post that your mother is 83 and I was really scratching my head over that. Didn't you just say in the other thread on the men's product something about in being in your late 70's????
So I went back, 'cuz you just know I can't even think about anything else in your current post except that your mother was VERY young when she had you, like around 13! ha! So I read the other post wrong. You were talking about something that happened to you in the late 70's, it wasn't that you were in your late 70's. LOL!
Okay, now I can go forward with your post. ![]()
So glad to hear about the lessening of lines from your nose down to the jaw, and under the neck too. That is awesome. The Conformer seems to be the Holy Grail; I'm certainly loving it.
The Perricone line of products can be daunting, right? Which one to use when, how, etc. I used to get all dangled up in the WHEN (which one first) of usage, to the point I was going to drop the whole line. It was frustrating me.
I particularly had a problem when Dana would say one thing about usage and when I got the product, the packaging would say something else. Like the demonstration she does on one woman, showing how to "really rub it in hard" on the face.....that's the daytime neuropeptide. But the package says to "pat it on gently." Totally opposite.
So when one very knowledgeable Perricone poster said to follow the protocol (it comes with every package you get from Perricone, and is also online), then I stopped listening to Dana, other than to hear about what the product is supposed to do for your skin.
That's funny about your daytime/nighttime. But yes, you have it. Firmness during the day (unless you really, really care about what you look like when you are asleep.......kind of like always being prepared.....did you mom, like mine, ever tell you that you should always make sure you have clean underwear on in case you are in a car accident?) and repair or work on wrinkles in the evening. Although I must admit I do use one wrinkle product during the day, his deep crease serum. It plumbs up my skin and makes the creases not seem as deep.
As to the eye AG, I like it for making my eyelids smoother. Is that the same as firmness? Maybe, maybe not. But the lids are nicer looking. As to its price, yes his stuff is expensive, even at QVC; however, I am finding as time goes by that I'm learning to use less and less. I used to smear myself in his stuff. Dana has always said to use just a drop or two of this or that, and it never seemed enough. But I have really gotten into the "pat" application as opposed to smear stuff on. Thus, I am not having to replace the bottles as soon as I used to. Like you, it was a duh/aha moment for me. We all have those, right?
I'm still using the Re:Firm for under the eye during the day, which takes care of any puffiness.
As to the Re:Firm for the face, I just finished up a jar of it. Think I have gone thru three jars so far. But now that I don't have any left, I will dig into my daytime neuropeptide that came with the Conformer.
Now that I have had a chance to compare the two, I stick with my original assessment that they do the same thing, with the Re:Firm drying faster. However, if I could only afford one, I would stay with the neuropeptide. I feel it tightens and lifts the face a tad more than the Re:Firm. I feel the firmness all day with it.
I've never heard of SeroVital, so was interested in what you had to say about it and the possible benefits. Too bad you're not sure if it was responsible for your great look in the mirror or if it is the Perricone. Quite a difference in price, yes? But if your BFF is any indication, maybe it is the SeroVital.
For me, I will probably stick with Perricone. Every time I try another line, it may work, but not as well for me. And I'm very opposed to mixing different lines, only because I'm afraid an ingredient of one line might "fight" an ingredient in another line of products, and give me problems.
By the way, you mentioned something about "in my travels." Do you mean just out and about town shopping, or are you interested in traveling? If so, don't hesitate to drop by the "Travel Chat" thread in the Among Friends area. A few of us talked in other forums about having a travel section, so we've started this thread on May 1. You don't have to be a world traveler to contribute. Recently someone has been talking about the islands they travel to. It can be domestic or international, whatever. Just fun to hear what other people are doing and helps to get ideas for vacations.

@rochelleS However............(forgot to mention this!), I am going to experiment this summer with 613 NBT. Yup! I'm going to leave all my beloved Perricone home (can you imagine what my luggage would weigh with all those glass bottles?!).
After hearing so many Wenners talk about the great effects of using the NBT (and Chaz talking about Cooper's great skin changes after using it over time), I decided that I would try it, and use nothing else, for the six weeks I will be traveling this summer. I'm really trusting everyone's opinion and Chaz's word that this. If it doesn't work, I will have lost six weeks of time that Perricone would have worked so well for me.
I do use the 613 NBT on my body, but not as my only skin care product. I switch between it and Josie Maran's body butters, which I really like too.
I purchased the 613 NBT travel set (three tubes to a set, 9 ounces) the last time he was on QVC and will use nothing else for skin care. Kind of scary to know that I will be halfway around the world for six weeks and not be able to drop back home to pick up the Perricone if the 613 doesn't perform for me like it has for everyone else. It's like I will be stuck.

You are funny... I just turned 64 and Mom just turned 83. She had me at the young age of 18, five days before her 19th B'day. She's a beautiful woman who has always taken care of herself, has impeccable taste and has always dressed beautifully. She has a black belt in shopping, lol. A tough cookie. But it was my paternal grandmother who passed on beauty and life tips that I still employ to this day. I don't know where I heard the clean underwear comment...but do remember passing out in a restaurant and waking to these hunky gorgeous EMT and firemen, thinking oh my, I do have gorgeous matching lingerie on on case they had to take of my clothes...I think I wanted them too. Ha!
You've mentioned not wanting to mix products. SeroVital is a capsule. Taken on an empty stomach 2 hrs before food. Get this, A quote As exactly written on the box...
"A more youthful pituitary output has been associated with wrinkle reduction, youthful skin integrity, decreased body fat, increased lean muscle mass, stronger bones, improved mood...and making users look and feel decades -- not years, but DECADES -- younger"
That hooked me, lol. "DECADES"!! Seriously, I really didn't notice this till well after I bought it. But did read over 300+ reviews and then made my purchase I have no doubt it has contributed to the changes I am seeing. Plus Costco's generous return policy didn't hurt my decision to try this.
My mention of 'travels was figurative not literal, just the day to day influx of stuff we're exposed to. Although I had the joy of traveling extensively in my 20's. Even lived in Central America for four years. Later I traveled to fabulous vacation destinations with my husband, till he passed away. My happy spots now have been my garden, pond and family and friends in Florida and CA. Oh, I went to Japan for a long weekend. Hugely loved that!
Yes, Perricone products are daunting. I am very grateful for your reference to using as suggested by protocol. This has been confusing for me especially watching the videos and then reading the directions on the Q products. I will pat product in and around my target areas more so than rubbing too. This is a good tip!
I'd like an eye firming product for the lids, primarily. No issue with under eye puffiness. So I guess the AG would be the correct choice (?) as it's okay for upper lids. I certainly don't know the exact difference between Re Firm and AG. Just the lid useage seems different. Smoother vs firmness??? Marketing? I have been patting an oh so wee amount of the TSV products on my lid in the meantime, without any issues. At least till I sort through a different product selection. Geez, I received Dr Denese's new MD eye product and haven't even tried it yet.
With my skin so plumped and smooth now I'll use up my lotions and potions before adding new. But being a product junkie that I am, will keep my eyes and ears open for suggestions for you or anybody else. I did buy some Rodial from evine before it was dc'd. Very nice products which I like very much. Big $$$ too.
Even though I am out of the traveling loop, Tks for the invite to the other forum. I'll pop over for a peek.

I'd love for you to try the 319 tonite before bed. My face loves it and is juicy and moisturized all night. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised!
I'm enamored with this cream. I bot the TSV and have been buying sealed jars on eBay for very reasonable prices.
What I would REALLY love to see would be comments or input on the ingredient deck from some of the very astute posters on this board. Their knowledge is truly impressive and I could never hold a candle to the impressive experience they're shared.
Yesterday I spoke of oil last over creams (that I'd read about on a moisture thread on this forum) this may be of some relative importance to you if minimizing your traveling stash. If that change in order of application gives more bang for the buck, you (I'd like) want to obtain the most out of the ingredients and what they have to offer... just sayin'.
Oh! I bot the Bounty Box, the Beekman goat milk products. Wow, the soap is nice. It's densely milled and long lasting. I used my 319 afterwards and it took the NBT to a different level. More and longer lasting moisturization on my body. A wonderful combination, highly recommended. A+++++ on these two together!

@rochelleS Oh, I misunderstood. SeroVital is a capsule. Well, I certainly will check that out! Too bad we didn't have this discussion earlier. I was at Costco last weekend.
Don't know how I got it in my head that it was something you put on your skin. Probably 'cuz that's what we were talking about and I just assumed.
My 97-year-old mother has beautiful skin, has always taken care of herself too. It is interesting that I got her fair skin, but my sister (who is four years older) got what we used to call "ruddy" skin. She was a natural redhead and keeps her gray colored red. But her skin is thicker and she has to work much harder than I to keep it in shape. I finally got her on Perricone, but just the basics, like the sub-D, the day neuropeptide, etc. Her skin has greatly improved in the last year.
Yes, I believe the AG specifically for the lids is the way. Mostly I read good posts about the AG products (there's one for the face too). But I'm sure there are people who don't find it works for them.
Here is what QVC says about the AG eyelid product:
In a consumer use survey, after four weeks:
-80% of participants reported an improvement in the appearance of dark circles under the eye
-76% of participants reported an improvement in the appearance of deep creases above their eyes and reported that their upper eyelids appeared smoother
-73% of participants reported an improvement in the firmness of their eyelid skin
-73% of participants reported an improvement in the appearance of brightness of the eye area
-71% of participants said they felt an instant smoothing effect around the 360-degree orbital rim of the eye area
-71% of participants reported creases around their eye appeared minimized
I definitely find that the percentages of those listed above are higher with my use of the product. I have more like an above 85% rating for those mentioned. My eyelids must need the AG.
I think the only other thing I would like to try is someone's retinol. I have asked questions on the forum about Peter Thomas Roth's retinol. I'm not sure using it with all the other Perricone products is advisable. I get nervous about stopping Perricone for any length of time to try something else. I'm also wondering why Perricone hasn't produced a retinol, although maybe it's because you can get such good results with the products he already has available, like the Conformer.
You had a "long weekend in Japan"? WOW! It's a 12 hour flight one way from the West Coast. You must have really wanted to go.
The only time I did a fast trip like that was to Rwanda to track gorillas. The first time I went there I was already in Africa, so spending just a week in Rwanda was not a problem.
But the second time I went was because someone else wanted to go and asked me to accompany them. It took us two days to get there from the West Coast (because of flights, layovers, etc.), and two to get back. Then we only spent four days with the gorillas. That was hard on these bones of mine! Too much sitting in planes or at airports. And once we were there, we spent hours hiking up the mountains to get to them. That was an exhausting trip, but rewarding.
Now if I go anywhere overseas, I go for a minimum of two weeks and usually three on average.
Well, it's time to go to the gym. I try to do that three times a week.

@rochelleS Quick note on this before I go to the gym.
Someone DID list the ingredient deck on both the 613 and 319 NBT within the last few months, if that is all you need. But if it is information on each individual ingredient, I don't think I have seen anyone do that. Just the order of the ingredients.
‎05-19-2016 07:13 PM
I'm familiar with the ingredient deck of 319. I'd love to see some of the knowledgeable people here analyze the ingredients. Thus pertaining to the benefits, pro and con etc etc of the product. I read one Wen user didn't want to use this body product on her face. I often believe it's a marketing ploy to buy more stuff. Note, I say this as a generic statement, knowing there are many targeted products. Know what I mean?
