I just typed this and my password didn't go through, so here we go again!
My Mom wants a No!No! for Christmas and I've read mixed reviews about it. She has mostly light hairs with the weird dark one here and there, so it's mostly for her face. Which have any of you used with success and would recommend? I'm supposed to it when she's done, so it has to work for awhile as i take after my Armenian Dad when it comes to hair! I can't afford the $500 ones, Thanks in advance for any help! Sorry about the spoiler line, oops!

I don't know of any home hair removal products that actually work.
I tried No!No! and it no no remove any hair at all permanently. Not even for a few weeks.
I have read reviews on the No!No! that say how good it is and the person has been using it for a year or longer.... If it worked as promised you would not need to keep using it.

I heard these units and those like them will not recognize light hair and therefore will not remove them. Not sure about that claim but I don't want to spend big bucks to find out. In any case I don't want to be disappointed.

I am Armenian too and we definitely have our hair-y issues. I tried NoNo last year and ended up sending it back because I don't think it worked and was too expensive. This time I tried the Emjoi Erase 60 and I do like it. At first it's a bit difficult getting used to the pinchy feeling of the tweezers but, you get used to it. It also seems a little weird to me like I'm 'shaving' my face but I got over that too. It gets the fine facial hairs and also the more coarse ones. By the way, I don't use the facial attachment, just the regular one on low speed.

I have both the No No and an epilator. I like the epilator better but I personally can't go weeks without using it again on my legs or arms. I use it every few days. It works amazing under the arms and face though. I can go weeks before using it again on my under arms and face. The No No was okay, it worked, but what they don't tell you is that you have to constantly buy the replacement heads. They wear out very, very quickly. I've gone though at least 8 or possibly more. And they are not cheap. The vendor for No No saying she never ever had to buy a replacement head in years is definitely lying.

Hello fellow Armenian cousins! 😀
I purchased Silk n Glide from HSN about 6 months ago and it's slowly working. Upper lip almost gone, chin hairs which were very stubborn for decades have reduced greatly with the continued laser treatment.
I think Kohls has it, go check the reviews
researching SANTOURIAN/KENJOSIAN/PALABOSIAN

Hm, I'll have to double-check with my Mom. How funny to have three Armenians on the hair removal thread! My Mom sent me to my aunt (Dad's sister) to learn about hair removal when I wasw 14! Of course, I don't have light hair to remove! I'm allergic to most hair removal methods (nickel in razors though I use a lot of shaving cream, hair depilatories, most waxes) but have tried old school and new school epilators. My Mom's face is real sensitive, I don't know how she'd do with an epilator, but I agree many hair removal systems don't remove light hair.
I'll check into the last one mentioned for my Mom just in case. Thank you, everyone!
