I was perusing the HSN schedule of upcoming shows, specifically looking for the times Perlier will be on during June 24-25 and July 16-17. By the way, the schedule indicates FREE shipping for their appearances.
HSN gives the name of the "guest" and it said Prince Scipione Borghese, so I Googled it to see who that was and, of course, that is Skip.
One of the links that was available on the Internet was to The Buzz, titled 19 Facts You Never Knew About Skip and Amanda, dated October 3, 2015. Here are those facts, which long-time Perlier customers probably already know, but as a new customer of theirs, I found it interesting.

Thank you for posting these! What a fun read. The only one that was familiar was Skip's full name. Heard him say it on air a couple visits ago. He said it so fast though that I didn't catch ALL the names. LOL

There used to be a beauty line called Borghese. Wasn't that also her or them?
Nothing against them or the the brand; I do use a few of their products, but I find the way Skip acts with his mother a little creepy.

Another interesting fact I found out through Google: Think when they first appeared on QVC, they were called Borghese. Out of curiosity, I Googled "Borghese" and there is an art gallery in Rome called Galleria Borghese. One of the architects is Scipione Borghese and it is in the former villa residence of the Borghese family. It appears to be a poplular tourist attraction along with the gardens at the Gallery.

Yes, @Icegoddess. I believe that's what Skip is referring to when he says their "parent company".

@Icegoddess --don't know about Skip, but the mom needs a new hair- do and stop wearing those horrendously large earrings. She is the one I find creepy.

@JeanLouiseFinch at the time I remember seeing that brand name, it was before I really bought much department store brands. I don't remember if the brand was in any of my local department stores or if I just saw the name in magazines.
I did a search on it and the brand is still available. It says the founder is Princess Marcella Borghese and the cosmetics brand was founded in 1957. She partnered with the founder of Revlon, Charles Revson, to launch her cosmetics brand.

The late Marcella Borghese was Amanda's mother-in-law

They had a huge court battle with the Borghese Company some time back, after the original company was sold.
They were trying to keep Amanda and Skip from using their own name when presenting Perlier products, but the judge ruled against that.
I loved the perfume Andiamo years ago when Borghese was run by Princess Marcella.
The only place I see Borghese now is in the big box store.
