Perlier 3L Problems…Can you help?

I just received the Huge shower cream from last week's TS day. Unbelievable... I can't get the top off of it! Instructions say it just pulls off- mine won't budge and I'm not a weakling (lol)! Anyone experience this and have advice? Otherwise gotta calling customer service, which will likely be fruitless... Praying not another return- Thank you in advance!

@Skyegirl21 I do not know if this will help at all, but whenever a top or lid (no matter how small or large or what kind) is hard to get off, I always tap the sides with the end of a butter knife. That usually releases the hold!

Run the cap area under HOT water & use a rubber gripper to twist the cap off & on.

If no luck......use a pair of pliers...so u break it but you'll get the product.

I just received that 3L of my uber fave Perlier Dbl Latte & it took a while to figure it out, so I understand, regardless of that included diagram of how to open it up for use.

I found that Instruction Sheet confusing. So I just piddled around trying to get it to work myself.

There's a high Collar around the neck of the plunger, so high, that the plunger seems to disappear into this collar.

. I thought the Collar was needed for the plunger use. NOPE. But, it looked like so much of a part of this Perlier "Jug."

I finally set aside that plunger,just in case. Then, had no problem.

Maybe, that collar was protecting the plunger head, is the only thing I could figure.

With that collar on, it was too high to allow the plunger to go full down & "plunge."

I know intellectually, it was 3L, but when it arrived.. HOLY SMOKES. That is a MASSIVE Bottle. I can't imagine returning it, esp if it's a scent you love.

@JoyFilled Warrior , @fthunt , @Harpa ,thanks all, for the suggestions- I retried and I can't get the top off. Called CS and they are waiving the return ship fee. I'm returning it. My luck it breaks all over the place (so huge, would be a nightmare)! 🤣 Appreciate you all- 💝 Have nice weekend!
