An option that works for me.  Nailtique.  Drug stores.  I am 60, and for the first time in my entire life, my nails are strong enough to grow past my finger tips.

@Sunshine Kate.  Yes, it's blue.  I bought 3 bottles on eBay for $9.  It's like a miracle.  I could see a difference after 2 days but after 2 weeks, I had new nails.  Its not greasy and is absorbed in seconds.

@Shelbelle - I asked DH about this when I first wanted to try this. He said the amount in this wouldn't make a difference. He said the formula products use is different from what we traditionally think of, and as long as we're not inhaling it it will be fine.

I've been using it as a base coat and top coat for a few years. Keeps my polish looking great!

I understand but now there are so many top notch nail products out there that are FREE of chemicals, I much prefer to use these.

@smoochy - agree a mix of reviews but I decided to try it anyway and see if I like it.  I've always wanted to try it and what works for one doesn't always for another.  No other way to know but to try it!  So, I'll see what happens.
