Peptide Creams - Drunk Elephant vs. Acure

[ Edited ]

Original - Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream
(ranges $70-80 for <1 oz.)

Dupe - Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream
(ranges $10-17 for 1 oz.)

Has anyone compared these two in real experience? I am a fan of peptides but would never purchase the Drunk Elephant. I’m tempted to try the Acure version.

Re: Peptide Creams - Drunk Elephant vs. Acura

@JeanLouiseFinch I am not familiar with Acura.  Is that a company or do you mean Acure (I do like their products a lot).

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Yes, it's a typo.  I'll correct. Thanks, @Jk9

Re: Peptide Creams - Drunk Elephant vs. Acure

@JeanLouiseFinch I bought several Drunk Elephant products at one time. This is the ONLY brand that has seriously broken out my face. It took me a couple of months to get my face back to normal. Their products get many good reviews, so it doesn't make sense.....but I would RUN from their products.

Hi !  I have tried both these brands but not there peptide cream . I started using the ELF HOLY HYDRATION Fragrence free face cream with peptides and I love it . It's $12 . Even though I am 58 I still have sensitive ,acne prone skin . I can't layer too many products. I was looking for something with the colder weather coming that would be gentle and effective . Here are the other ingredients

Key Ingredients:

  • Hyaluronic Acid - Locks in moisture for a plump complexion
  • Niacinamide - Minimizes pores and evens out skin tone
  • Peptides - Promotes collagen and improves skin texture
  • Squalane - Improves balance and elasticity
  • Vitamin B5 - Soothes and hydrates skin
