I had an appointment with the podiatrist today and she said do not shave your legs the day you get a pedicure. Her reasoning no matter how careful you are you can get microscopic cuts which can be attacked by bacteria

That’s a good reminder. I don’t shave the day of pedicure mainly because they use a scrub on my legs which stings if I have a nick or scrape. I learned the hard way.

That makes sense to me because they do the scrub and the massage.  I don't have hairy legs, I shave about 4 times a year so it's unlikely that I would have a pedicure on the day I shave my legs but it's something I will think about moving foward.

I always shave on pedi days, why have a tech put lotion on stubbly legs, not nice for them. I would be embarrassed.

I wouldn't NOT shave the day of a pedicure.

I wouldn't want  my nail tech to feel stubbly legs !  Or feet !!

My nail tech spends a good amount of time massaging my feet and legs.  I'd be mortified if I hadn't shaved my legs that day.

No worries for me because my hair stopped growing on my legs and underarms.
