Yes, I have tried a few mixes with oils. I like the way my skin feels but it breaks out pretty bad after a few weeks.

I'm sorry to hear you had irritation. Burning is never good in my opinion. I just had to send back the C15 and 4% BHA Foam. Two different representatives from Paula's Choice told me it sounded like they were too strong for my skin. They do have excellent customer service. Have you thought about using oils for moisturizing and cleansing? There is a lot of good information online about them.

I went by what their rep suggested. It was the kit that is 138 so there are either 7 or 8 products. I really wanted a complete system but I agree one thing at a time I guess for problematic skin.

Have you tried using the products in the kit without adding in the 8% AHA? I cannot use that product, my skin burns (and I am confused as to why they have that product in the kit). I use a BHA instead, and use the aha on my hands. The rest of the products in that kit should not be burning you. Everyone's different, but I have quite sensitive skin, and if I skip the 8%, I have no issues with that kit.
I had to go look to see whether there really is an AHA product in the Skin Recovery Kit. I'm very surprised that it's included.
The OP said that the rep recommended the kit it as being good for rosacea. But usually PC will not recommend an AHA product but will instead recommend a BHA for such skin.
Most of the Skin Recovery products specify that they are good for rosacea, but I checked this AHA product, and it does NOT say rosacea. In fact, it says only "anti-aging, wrinkles," not even a mention of sensitive skin as is the case with the rest of the line.
One moral of the story is that maybe it's better to buy individual items rather than a kit.

tray, it might have been a matter of miscommunication. But I think you're right about adding one product at a time for your skin, since you have several issues you're dealing with. Really, though, it's probably a good idea for all of us -- that, and also having realistic expectations for what topical skincare products can do and remembering that each of us will undoubtedly have different responses in terms of how our skin tolerates products and what results we get from them.

skinstore.com is having a 20% off today on Paula's Choice!!! (the code is FAM) If you go through mrrebates, you get a 10% rebate! I have used skinstore and they are authorized, but call if you aren't sure. They are fast, maybe 2 days? I am in California. They give samples as well. Also, they have excellent cs. I buy my perricone there when they have this saqle. Which is 2X a year. They used to have 20% off all the time, on all products, but they stopped that for the top name brands.

Thanks so much, shoekitty. I'm in CA as well. I don't need any products right now, after ordering using the Dermstore 20 percent off code, but I appreciate the thought.
It's weird with the sites that are now carrying PC products. Dermstore is the only one I've that seems to carry just about everything. Most of them do not. I haven't checked skinstore but will keep it in mind in the future.
