What would be a less expensive equivalent for Paula's Resist BHA9?
Is there something else? I just feel Paula's product isn't worth the high cost.
TIA

@Sunshine Kate I sincerely tried with this for Sebaceous Hyperplasia (3 tubes) and it did nothing. What are you trying to accomplish?

I use Paula's 2% BHA liquid and have for years all over my face, although not everyday as it dries out my skin.
If I have a small breakout, the BHA 9 works much faster than the 2% BHA. I need a quick fix for small occasional breakouts.
I think her BHA 9 is a good product, but not good enough for her price point.

I don't have an equivalent, but depending on what you want to use it for, you might look into salicylic acid peels. I purchased a 20% one from Amazon (skinlaboratory) and it works really, really well on acne scars and pores. I would definitely recommend it. I actually ran out a few months ago and haven't repurchased because I've been using PAulas weekly BHA (4%) but I am going to reorder my peel from Amazin for a stronger weekly treatment.

Makeup Artist's Choice website sells an 8% Beta Hydroxy serum that is not a leave-on serum but more of a very short BHA peel, you only leave the serum on your skin for a few minutes, then rinse off. This may be more up your alley if you are looking for a quick treatment for a breakout. It's pretty cheap compared to the PC product, 1 oz. is $16.

The packaging of Paula's 9% BHA is so aggravating! I am on my third tube but feel like I should still be on my first with the little amount I use. No matter how lightly I try and dispense the product, a ton always shoots out and is wasted. I keep saying I am not buying again until they fix it but there is no alternative out there to replace it with.

@MissSugarKane I agree. I always try to get just a little but the pump always ends up going all the way down and then I'm stuck with way more product than I actually wanted to use.
