Paula's Choice Recovery line for rosacea

I just ordered a few items from this line and was wondering if any of you use it and have rosacea. How do you like it?

Re: Paula's Choice Recovery line for rosacea

I use the products and love them. I have mild rosacea and its so calm my skin looks completely fine. Right now I'm using her Moisture Boost cleanser because my skin has been very dry this winter but the Recovery cleanser is great. Fortunately I've never had any issue with any of her products. I did venture out and try her retinol serum and that made my skin too dry so I've stopped for now. I hope you like the products and enjoy them as much as I do. Honestly I had pretty much given up on skin care except for a basic cleanser and moisturizer as I was reacting to so many products.

I have rosacea and the only product I have used from Paula's Skin recovery line is the hydrating mask. It is one of my favorite products. I use it several times a week.

Thanks, Bljed and Iwantcoffee. I already use Renova, so I will be cautious with the BHA lotion. My rosacea is mild so I'm hopeful that I can tolerate the products. I didn't order the hydrating mask, but I think I want to try that next. My skin is very dry now and Renova makes it a little flaky sometimes.

Re: Paula's Choice Recovery line for rosacea

The problem with rosacea is that it's as individual as we are. Two people with rosacea and the exact same skin issues can have completely opposite reactions to the same product. Unfortunately, the only way to know if something will work for you is to try it yourself. I can't use any of Paula's moisturizers or sunscreens, but I like some of her cleansers, BHA products, and hydrating mask. That said, your experience could be the same or completely different.

Even though the PC samples are small foil packages, I find I can get several uses out them. Also make sure to try one new thing at a time so you can pinpoint culprits if something doesn't agree with your skin.

I agree with you. I started out I believe with the cleanser and then moisturizer without spf. I added new pieces one by one and tried samples with my orders. I was having good luck but did not want to try more than one product at once in case there was an issue. I'm also using the spf mineral based sunsblock/moisturizer, the recovery mask and the BHA lotion.

Re: Paula's Choice Recovery line for rosacea

I ordered my products yesterday and they arrived today!

So far, so good with everything. I went out on a limb and tried everything at once and no stinging! The products seem like they are soothing and my face has a nice glow. I purchased the cleanser, toner, BHA 1% and moisturizer from the Recovery line. I use Finacea as my Rx and I applied it after BHA and before moisturizer. When I use Renova tomorrow night, I will skip the BHA. I also use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum, so I'll incorporate that into my daytime routine.

I think my next purchase will be the Recovery mask. I'm so happy to have found something that doesn't sting!

Glad it seems to work for you. I'm a big fan myself, and I love the Skin Recovery moisturizer.

I had been a bit leery about starting on any exfoliant for my sensitive skin, but now I'm hooked on BHA. Everyone's different, but I think it's considered the better choice for skin like yours or mine.

May have to give her line a try. I have also tried so many lines I can't even count.
