Paul Mitchell's AWAPUHI at Sally Beauty Supply

Is the generic Paul Mitchell "Awapuhi" shampoo sold at Sally Beauty Supply, the same "Wild Ginger" shampoo that everyone raves about? It says on the bottle it has wild ginger in it but not positive if it is the same as the new shampoo?
