I would think that it depended on your  cowlick  ( area on top back of head -  My child had a " double crown " .

" The main factor to consider for this is the direction that your cowlick flows. If it runs clockwise (left to right) then your hair will lay nicer when parted on the left, if it flows counterclockwise (right to left) then it will lay nicer when parted on the right side. "

Re: Parting Your Hair

[ Edited ]

My hair parts itself down the center until it gets to my widows peak, then it zigs to the right.

Just curious, do you part your hair down the center, left side, or right? I part my hair on the left side but only slightly off center. I also wonder if their is a correlation between which side you part and if your left or right handed?

@Jordan2  I don't part my hair but it does part naturally on the left. I'm left-handed.

I have a natural part on the right side of my head.  I have fought that all my life.  If I were to part it there, my hair would lay flat against my head.  Plus, I think I have a widow's peak, so that part would just do something funky.  No bangs for me.

I used to part my hair on the left side of my head, but currently I am trying not to part it at all.  I still flip the front left to right, but the back part, and inch or so in is not parted at all.  The better to hide those grays when they come in.
