suzy, what a nice offer to help w/ posting live links from FF. It used to work w/ Google Chrome, but it doesn't work for me any more. I wonder if it's my computer, or I just don't know the steps.

Hi, Harpa. I'll take that as a yes.

Okay, I'll give this a shot. Feel free to ask me any questions if you don't understand. This is how I do it:

Go to the page to which you want to link. Copy the URL for that page.

Come back here and open up a reply box. Type your reply. Decide which word or words you want to function as your link and highlight (select) it or them.

Then click on the icon at the top of the reply box that looks like binoculars (hover over it and it should say 'Insert/Edit Link.")

Another box will open. Use Ctrl V to paste your URL where it says "Link URL" and then click on "Insert."

The word or words should now be a different color. Voila!

I hope this makes sense. Try it out, and please don't hesitate to ask me if you have any problems or don't understand.

Related in as much as it's a how-to post question: How do you go about posting an image in a reply?

I see that people will often post TSV pics or pics of purses on that board. I knew how to do it in the forums on ebay but I'm lost here.

Just throwing the ? out there. (I don't mean to put you on the spot, suzyQ.)

I use PhotoBucket. It's a photo-sharing site. I upload whatever pic I want to that site. Then they're stored in my "library." I can download them here by using the appropriate link that is shown.

That's the short version, Irish. If you need step-by-step, let me know. The link becomes the pic, then, when I submit my reply.
