I was ready to ask why we don't use just straight zinc as a sunscreen but after reading the other posts I figured it out myself. Thanks ladies.

Okay so I tried the Hot pink Skin79 sample today and here are my initial thoughts:

-color match is perfect, looks similar in color to MPC #21 on me

-thinner consistency than MPC. I like the thinner consistency but I don't find MPC too heavy so I don't necessarily prefer it over MPC.

-No irritation

-I do not need or want heavy coverage but I find in order to get similar results as MPC in terms of just an overall evening out of my complexion, I need more of the SKIN79 hot pink one. I suppose this is one disadvantage of having a thinner consistency.

-it seemed pretty dewy but that might have been my PC's skin recovery SPF moisturizer I used underneath it moreso than the BB cream. I will try it with a lighter moisturizer tomorrow and see what I get. I like dewy but I actually had to use a setting powder to tone it down a bit which I have not had to use in many months, if not a year!

So that is all I got for my initial impression. Definitely is promising so far in terms of not causing any issues and being a good match. Certainly better than the BRTC I used in the past. No strong scent either, at least not that my nose detected. Smiley Happy

Funny you should mention that one. I tried the Super Gold BB cream too. The color is a good match for me. I found it to be similar to Missha in consistency with maybe a tad less coverage. The finish seemed more semi matte and to me Missha is more satin. I did use a touch of powder over it but that's normal for me. I like it so far. I'm planning on trying the orange one and then the pink one. I don't think the snail one will be for me. It sounds like it would be light coverage but I may try it at some point.

Please let me know how the gold one compares to the pink. I look forward to hearing what you think:-)

wackers - I hope you chime in. I'd live to hear if you've tried yours yet.

hi myshelll!

I did try the gold one and I agee, it has less coverage but, like the hot pink one, I think the consistency is a bit thinner than MPC. Again, the color matched perfectly so no issues there. I didn't really find much difference between the gold and the hot pink honestly. Perhaps the hot pink had slightly more coverage but not a significant difference if any. If I had to chose between the two after only one use, it would be the hot pink but neither of them, so far, are better than MPC imho.

I do not have a snail BB in my set. The seller added in some snail cream (not a BB, just skincare) with my kit but I am not going to try it. You actually have a snail BB cream?

I agree the Gold is nice but not better than Missha. In the set I ordered I got the Pink, Orange, Gold and one called Snail Nutition BB cream. The snail one contains 45% Korean Snail Secretion Filtrate. Doesn't the It CC contain the snail stuff? 45% is a lot. I hadn't read the label all that well till you asked about it and I got it out to check the name. Hmmm, I don't know if I will try that one or not. LOL. I might sample it on my hand.

ah interesting we have different sets! I have two pink- one hot pink (super + BB triple function), one lighter pink (Diamond collection prestige BB cream), a gold one (Super BB whitening, VIP gold collection) and a silver one (Diamond collection Pearl luminous BB).

Yeah, something of IT's contains the snail secretion but I can't remember what. {#emotions_dlg.blink}

It does have snail slime in it but I don't know the %. I think it came out about the time that they where doing the news articles about Asian countries using live snails on their faces. I figured if I could eat a snail or a frog leg then the snail slime wouldn't hurt me, lol. Better than live snails playing on my face (eww!!). It's supposed to be very good for your skin. I have some snail serum but I didn't notice much of a difference using it.
