Shelbelle, I should have included you in my previous post to Lyn in MI because I have also noticed that your skincare posts include much knowledge and wisdom.

If you don't mind, I'm going to pose the same two questios to you that I asked Lyn.

Do you get your knowledge from books, web sites, Beautypedia, ...? Please share your resources.

My next question is a little more challenging to ask and to answer. I have learned from your posts that you use a variety of products and brands - Isomers, Perricone, etc. I have also read from other posters as well as skincare professionals that expensive products do not produce any better results than less expensive products. I also know that many skincare professionals have their own line of products that are pricey. Sooooo, do you find that the more expensive products produce better results because they have more complex ingredient decks? I think that Perricone products (for example) are quite expensive. I guess I am wondering that, given the assertion by professionals that expensive skincare products are basically a waste of money, what criteria do you use to decide to invest in these products?

It is confusing for me because of my lack of knowledge, but also because I feel that the professionals contradict each other. Those w/o skincare lines say the drugstore/less expensive products are just as good while those with products to sell obviously claim the opposite.

Thank you in advance for your help.
