I was taking a shower and went to use my Dr. Perricone Nutritive Cleanser and the bottle sputtered. I knew it was getting low, so I put the bottle on my bathroom counter for recycling.

Well, that night I had not forgotten to get a new bottle of cleanser out and figured I would use the old bottle because I never put the old bottle in recycling. Next morning, in a hurry still hadn't gotten a new bottle out, so used the old bottle.

By then I just kept using the old bottle. Well, I am using the old bottle and I am well into my second week and still have cleanser left.

Yesterday, I looked at the bottom of the bottle. It is dome shaped. So the highest part is where the pump draws the product. Plus the tube on the pump is half an inch from the bottom of the bottle. How clever. So there is still plenty of cleanser in the bottle.

I have been using Dr Perricone cleansers for years and it took me this long to notice how much product I was throwing out.

I've noticed that (not for that, but other products).  I use Dr. Denese products.

I love Hydroshield.  I turn the little bottle it comes in upside down and let it drain to the top.  I can go with this for at least one week each day (sometimes more).

Same thing with tubes of things.  I've actually cut the tube open and used something from inside of the tube (even the cap/top part).

Everything (not just these products) is expensive these days.  It saves money to use it ALL up.

It was good that you brought that to people's attention.

That said.  I've been having trouble with Amazing Grace perfume spray.  Suddenly the spritzer top gets stuck over and over.  Normally, I would open the bottle and put it into something else....but the top is sealed shut.

Rather than throw it away (sometimes the bottle is still 1/2 full) I will put something slippery on it so it moves back and forth.  It is so frustrating when in a hurry.

So much about Philosophy cologne is frustrating anymore...

on any pump beauty product I always save the original bottle cap. then when the sputtering begins and the product doesn't come out with the pump any longer I just remove the pump, replace the original cap and turn the bottle upside down until I've used all the product.
