I've never tried PTR's retinol fusion but because I know it generally gets good reviews, I've been curious to try it. I don't generally like to try a product with a supersizes but because this also has the new eye product (which I'm also curious about), I'm considering it.
Has anyone tried both this and Dr. Gross's Retinol Face and Eye serums and can compare? I really didn't see much difference with Dr. Gross, although I do like his pads.

I have tried both retinol scrums. I like the PTR version more. I saw more clarity to my skin and it seemed more gentle. I haven't tried their eye creams with retinol. I tried one of PaTR's other, older eye creams but was unimpressed.

I've been using the PTR Retinol for 2 years now and prefer it over the prescription Retin A. Ptr retinol is gentle , yet effective. You will get minimal flaking (I do, some days more than others) so I know it's working. I'm already on A/D for the 2oz size alone, so skipping this TSV.

Hi, sue. I have used and enjoyed both. I'll be perfectly honest: as I'm in my 30s, I don't have a lot of skin issues (including lines, wrinkles, sagging, etc) where I generally notice a huge difference with many skin products. My main concerns at this moment are combating dryness and having radiant, clear skin, as well as preventing lines, sagging, age/sun spots, etc. That being said, I had no issues with either Dr G or PTR in terms of increased dryness or irritation. I could use each every night without any issues. I do think both helped my skin, but neither was a true "stand out" for me. I'm not sure if this post will really help much in your decision making, but I wanted to throw in my two cents, just in case. Oh, and I also tolerate Dr G Retinol & Ferulic eye serum very well, whereas some have irritated and caused redness near the outer corners of my eyes. HTH!!

I think PTR's is better. I think Paula B did a review and she didn't give Gross's as good of a review. I'm not 100% sure of this. She doesn't seem to like a lot of Perricone or Gross products though. She likes a lot of PTR and doens't like others. I take what she says with a grain of salt, but I have started to read her comments. I agree with Paula....these skincare companies need to stop with the added fragrance and parfums!!!
Lancome is notorious for adding parfum. I worked behind their counter for a very short period of time, and there's too much fragrance in Lancome. I prefer Clinique.

I have used both Roth and Gross, neither made any visible changes in my skin.

I'm surprised so many like PTR. I've tried several of his product with little or no results. OTOH, I've used Dr. Gross' Retinol w/Seurlic acid for a couple of years now and am pleased with it. I get good and quick results with it with no redness, breakouts, dryness or flaking. I do not use it nightly, about three times a week.
Where skincare is involved, I'm not loyal. I'm now looking at Paula's products and will try some of them in the future when needed.
