Anyone else?
His stuff is so good

I have the kit that was a TSV a few months ago on A/D. And I've just ordered the ODO kit with moisturizer and eye cream. I had just about finished what I had for eye cream and was looking for something new. I'm happy to try his products.

I agree, his products are one of the few I continue to purchase. The "sample" kit for $44 is outstanding with the pads and retinol and everything else is gravy. Don't really care for the red gel moisturizing item with "Dragon's Blood" but have used it anyway, but the pads are really good as is the Serum!

There isn't a day that I don't use something from PTR. Love his products!

I've never tried Retinol. Understand from what he said that you only use at night, and can't be out in the sun with it on. Hopefully, that means the next morning it has worn off and you can go about your normal day, even out in the sun if necessary, without a bad reaction. Or do you have to be extra careful even during the day when you have not put it on?
But something he said made me pause. Don't remember the exact words, but something to the effect that you can/should NEVER stop using it. He seemed very emphatic about it. Wasn't sure if he was just ensuring you keep spending money on his product.
Does that mean that every single night you need to use it for benefits or can you do it a couple or three nights a week and still get some results.
Does stopping for a day or two mean that everything you have done up to the point goes away immediately? I have an upcoming trip and I would like to take only a minimal of skin products with me, like moisturizer and sunscreen only.
Are the results accumulative?
Any basic information you can give on using Retinol would be appreciated. I have thought about using Retinol over the past couple of years, but for some reason have not taken the step. I already use a lot of Perricone products, which are wonderful for me.
Am wondering if adding Retinol to my routine would benefit me. I do recall him saying that you use it first and then you can use it by itself or with any other serum/treatments you are already using, even if it isn't his products.
I have always tried not to mix products from two or three different companies, as you never know if an ingredient from one company's products will negatively impact the ingredients from another company's products.
Thanks for any help you can give on this.

Check his website for the Mother's Day special of his Mega Rich Creme. Excellent deal and the jar lasts a few months

I had one of those sample kits too. The pads were the best things about that kit for me. Actually, the price of the sampler kit is about the price of the pads alone. The other items in the kit I didn't care for at all. I wanted to try the Retinol PM, but didn't think it was anything special. Same for the gel and the eye serum. I think the tube of body lotion has a horrible smell., so I won't even use it.

I've used the the PTR Retinol and LOVED it. However, .....
#1-The smaller bottle lasted a year because I did not use it every nite. For that reason, I would never get the super-size.
#2- It's my understanding that you must use sunscreen when using retinol and for that reason, I never use retinol in the summer when the sun is strongest. For me, retinol is a winter only product.
#3- Yes, the results are cumulative. The more you use it, the better your skin will look.

I'm very tempted by the supersize retinol serum as I ordered the last TSV with all the retinol products and have been pleased with the results.
World Traveler, I can't answer all your questions, but I do find that my skin looks better when I use the retinol PM consistently. I've been on the road a lot the last month and like you didn't want to lug everything with me, but did notice the difference - not a horrible backslide, but just a more blah complexion. After a few days back on the night retinol treatments, my skin glows again.
Also, the retinol should be washed/rinsed off in the AM, and a good sunscreen applied ALWAYS when using retinol.
On another note, has anyone here tried the Rose stem cell products? I've got a boat load of other day products to use up before I can possibly bring another new product into the house, but I put a bit of the Rose stem cell serum on the back of my hand at Ulta yesterday and wow, I can still feel the softness today after many many hand washings. Reviews would be appreciated.

@RinaRina Thanks so much for the information.
Interesting about the size of bottle. Makes sense not to get the big one if you're not using it every night.
Like the idea of only using during the winter, as I'll be on a six-week trip this summer and don't want to carry any more than I need to. Would probably be better in my case not to start Retinol until after the trip.
Love that the results are cumulative though.
