I went to her website. $12.00 for shipping and handling?? For shame, Victoria {#emotions_dlg.scared}

I went to her site yesterday too since I used to use the products for many years then stopped for some reason. When I saw the shipping and handling I changed my mind on trying again after reading this thread. Ridiculous to pay that $$

I know. Not even Q would charge that kind of price. I'll stick with my SKINN. Free S&H most items or under $3. And the products rock {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

VP needs to learn not to rape her customers.

HERE I AM!

Been using Principal Secret for over twelve years, and I wouldn't change a thing. I use Reclaim and swear by it. I control when it ship's and what products I want to receive in my customized kit, which by the way cost's less then when Q sold this product line.

P.S., has amazing customer service and at times, like this past Christmas when they sold out of the Reclaim night cream, they sent another similar product for half of the normal cost and sent it free.

I would/will not never use anything else as this IS the best skin care EVER!

P.S., customer service 1-800-545-5595

To be fair to VP regarding her shipping charges - she does not have the benefit of selling the millions of units that QVC, HSN, etc do so she is not going to get the price breaks that they do. I am sure she keeps it as competitive as she possibly can without trying to make a profit on it (which QVC does in massive dollar amounts)

I don't even buy her products but I can certainly empathize with the fact that she is a small company trying to stay as profitable as possible and if she took a massive hit on every order to absorb shipping costs herself, it would likely cut into her bottom line significantly and potentially put her company at risk.

Small companies just do not have the benefit of getting any breaks from shipping companies if they don't sell massive quantities - that's just a reality of doing business as a small time operation.

KateE-I don't have a new book so I was just wondering does the $12.00 shipping price apply to all of customized kits? The s/h used to be based on how many pieces you order. Has that changed?

Hello everyone. This is my first post. When I saw this I wanted to share that I for years I used Principal Secret and really liked it, but wanted to check out other product lines, you know all the new and latest and greatest for quite a while, but recently went back to Principal Secret and my skin loves it.

Welcome, tg-indy, to the beauty forum!

Thanks SFC, I appreciate that. Regarding Principal Secret, I must say my skin is looking clearer and feels calmer (if that makes any sense) I will be sticking with this, seems to be working.

About PS shipping charges. I have a catalogue and it is still based on the total price of what you order. You will only be charged 12.99 for orders of 150.00 and up. I still like her products and have my favorites so it irks me I can't purchase them anymore from here. I will most likely go back to being a club member once again. High priced or low priced I buy what my skin and sensitive eyes do best with. The high priced stuff isn't always the best nor is the cheapest. It's finding what works and sticking with it for me.

I have read a lot of positive reviews for her products, and don't know why I haven't tried

them. I may give them another look, and glad your products are working for you.

After trying many skincare lines, I'm thinking I was using products that were much to harsh for my skin. When I went back to Principal Secret, my skin actually feels like it use to. I wouldn't consider my skin to be sensitive, but don't seem to react well to strong formulas.
