Hi everyone! I have a question and thought I would put it to the Wenners to see what your thoughts are. I have curly hair that is fine to medium texture and I've been using the POM CC for awhile now and really like it-the results have been good. But, I'm wondering if I should give Fig a shot for extra help. My hair has a tendency to get frizzy, especially in the humidity of the NE. I've used the Fig SC and that seems to help, so I'm wondering if switching to the Fig CC will make a bigger difference. Would love to hear what you think.

I would try the Fig, I do think it will help with frizz.

I have curly hair and I love the Fig. Pom is just okay, it's not moisturizing enough for me (none of the soy based seasonals are). I use Pom for a first cleanse only.

Give the Fig a try. I have fine hair but it's straight. Fig helps with my frizz. Somedays I don't need full-on fig and mix it with Lav. You could do the same with POM

It depends what's causing your frizz. I have coarse, dry, curly hair and I have to be careful with the Fig when it's very humid. Fig has a lot of glycerin in it, so I can't use it alone as my leave-in in very humid weather. I either add oil to seal the moisture into (and out of) my hair, or I switch to another conditioner with less glycerin just for the leave-in step.

That's good information to know. Thanks.

I love the Pom but the Fig is more moisturizing. You definitely should try it.

I would definitely try it. I can't use any of the core formulas alone and get results I'm really happy with. I have to use Fig or mix the cores with Fig to get enough moisture.

In your other post you said you've been using WEN for 5 years and have been buying gallons. You must really love POM.

I do-it's been the most consistent out of the ones I've tried so far (613, SAM, LAV, BGT, TT and the seasonals), it doesn't dry my hair out and it leaves it really soft. I have an A/D coming up with the 613 and thought it may be a good opportunity to give Fig a chance and see what it does. I don't do change well-once I try something and it works, I'll stick with it. So we'll see how this goes.
