Wet N Wild 1 Step Instant Gel. This stuff is FREAKING AMAZING!!!!

* NO base coat needed

* NO top coat needed.

* You ONLY NEED ONE COAT for full coverage OVER OLD NAIL POLISH! (if you're in a hurry and need a new color ASAP). I do two coats as I like more coverage/deeper color.

* Dries in UNDER A MINUTE.

* Lasts a week plus.

I use this on my toe nails. I use it on my fingernails when I want to change colors without having time to remove the old polish. I have it in a bright red, a hot pink and a soft mauve (my nails but better and THAT covers red polish in 1 coat!!!).

I buy it when CVS has buy one, get one free. Always have a bottle in my purse. Love this stuff. Comes in 18, 20 or more colors.

I've seen it, but the BLACK bottle had me fooled.  I never looked at it because I thought it was black polish!

I only use  Revlon brand

because it is free of formaldrehyde,

 I dont wear polish often.

Wet & Wild is cruelty free!  The others mentioned are not.

@RinaRina  They DO offer it an a black polish, lololol, so you weren't exatly wrong! : )

Got it!  I got a red color called "Crime of Passion" (#724A) and applied it before I went to work.  It dried FAST!

I work at a school - the 3rd & 4th graders hated the color and said I should've gotten "blue" ("black" was their 2nd choice).

But everybody wears blue!  I wanted to be different.

The kids told me I was wearing an "old lady" shade. 

I'll go back* tomorrow and look for a more "contemporary" color.

Some are formulated to dry faster, like Sally Hansen Insti-Dry or Seche Vite Top Coat. Because they dry faster, the can also get goopy or stringy faster. I keep a bottle of nail polish thinner around to keep them from getting stringy.
