Watching my recording of Plexiderm, it seemed the vendor had no movement in her forehead and around her eyes...Plexiderm or Botox? Using Plexiderm is so temporary (& expensive, not to mention the no moisturizer, etc.). Botox keeps the wrinkles at bay for months and prevents future ones from forming.

@Shanus  you make a good point about Botox.I haven’t tried it yet but I am thinking it could be too late.I need the full lift now.Have you used Botox?Do you think it makes your  face look puffy?

I have and do use Botox (twice a year). It works wonders (its not overdone in any way)....very natural, without all the forehead "11" lines. I would not use Plexiderm - its expensive, but dries out the skin; leaving a white film. Its like Serious Skin Care Instatox, The Genie formula the Q sold years ago and like the old Diane young "un-wrinkle".

I haven't tried Plexidern but I have tried the Peter Thomas Roth FirmX which is very similar.  I really don't have many wrinkles (one across my forehead) but I do have small eye bags and deep furrows under my eyes.

The problem with the PTR product is that they say to use very little....well if you don't  use enough then it doesn't do much of anything but if you use too much it leaves a chalky white drying residue which is unattractive.

It's the deep furrows that bother me.  I've considered getting fillers but it scares me a bit since it's close to the eyes and I've also heard negative things about under eye fillers.  What has helped me (only temporarily though) is the PTR  24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye Patches which the Q used to sell.  They really plump up the skin under the eyes but it doesn't last.

I would have liked to see the vendor's before photo.  Plus they took away all of the customer questions (over 30) yesterday which makes one wonder why.

Botox does not make your face look puffy (dermal filler can). Botox gets rid of the wrinkles.

@dex   I did try it once simply as an experiment and no charge from my plastic surgeon buddy. I didn’t see a lot of difference...not too many wrinkles & he was cautious to not make it look unnatural.

The puffy, “pumpkin face” look results from too much fillers, not Botox. Think Madonna. When a women is thin and has a lot of volume in her face...dead give away. That’s why it’s said that a little extra weight as we age helps to add natural volume to our faces and prevents a sunken in look.

Ladies, funny but true, hemmoroid cream used sparingly under the eyes has fairly good temporary results...shrinking one area or the other is the same principle. Lol

@haddon9 ....and why come out with a “new” formulation unless the former one was a dud.

@Shanus   I agree...plus they never really said what was improved about the new formula except that it lasts a bit longer.  The questions that were answered (before they were removed) were very vague.

@Shanus    What has stopped me from buying these types of "line smoothers and lifters" is that I NEED lots of moisterizer on my face at all times, and you can't use those with these products.  I tried one of these items (Insta-Tox) once.  It smoothed under my eyes, but as soon as I smiled (my eyes always crinkle when I smile, can't help it), it all cracked and looked horrible!

I imageine this stuff might work for some people, but definitely not me.  If I ever have some extra money and a little courage, I'd be willing to try the Botox route.  My worst areas are the crinkling under my eyes and my lips disappearing into my mouth with wrinkling around them as well.  I suppose I should jut stop smiling so much.

At 70, and as an avid outdoor person, I think I could be a lot worse off than I am, though!
