PLEASE HELP!! I am so frustrated!!!

I had my makeup done at Ulta twice and I loved it! I bought everything she used from the Pur CC Cream to the 4in1 Power Foundation to the Tarte Finishing Powder. I really loved how the make up lasted all day no matter what! I have tried putting the cream on with my fingers and then I bought a foundation brush. It looks nice when I leave the house but it doesn't seem to stay all day. Any suggestions?? Thank so much!!!
