Probably because of lawsuits involving talc and ovarian cancer - I believe Johnson & Johnson have been sued over this.

I bought an a Imperial Honey talc about 2 months ago. They sell them on their website. Just had a buy one get one free sale over the 4th. Whenever they are in stock at HSN, they typically sell out fast.

Why do you like talc. That part of the kits was something I had to throw out because no one I know uses it.

I sprinkle talc in my socks when I wear any type of shoe with nylon fabric such as BZees, Easy Spirit Traveltime Clogs or Sloggers. It's also great for removing sand off the body after a visit to the beach. Another use is to sprinkle on sheets to keep them cool during the night. Last, it helped my son with an itchy, warm cast. He didn't want to smell like a baby and liked the smell of Imperial Honey. We sprinkled some talc down into his cast and he was happy

No one should be using talc any more after what we know about it causing cancer. Even if you aren't using it in your private area they say that breathing it in when applying to other areas can cause lung cancer. I know a nice lady who never smoked who had lung cancer. They didn't know why - even tested their home for radon thinking it was environmental. It turned out for years she used talc under her breasts and in her armpits - they felt her cancer was caused by breathing that talcum powder when she applied it.
