restoration? Both have about the same reviews.
Ladies, which do you prefer and why?
TIA

I have no real issue with my nails and never do polish. However I do use oil at least once a day. It makes a difference. TIPS is basically overpriced soybean oil and I would not go near it. Check other oils.

I have loved TIPS for years. They used to make nail polish. I never tried perfect formula. I think TIPS is easier because it's oil. I think it works great!

OT, But TRIND nail balsam.
I take a nasty medication known for devastating nails and hair, magic for me.

@tends2dogs I tried perfect formula as well as other oils but I found TIPS to be the best for real nail change as well as cuticals that don't have the need to be trimmed to look good.

T.I.P.S. Girl all the way. Been using for years. Love it. Took about 2 months to really see a difference, but I started during winter. Is it a guarantee your nails will never break? Of course not. Accidents happen. Most of the time though I have to cut my nails, they get too long. As an aside, Perfect Formula contains formaldehyde, not good.

Nothing really helps me but warmer weather and staying out of water. Years ago I checked and Tips main ingredient was soybean oil and found it at Family Dollar.
I use the Beekman products and those help somewhat.

Neither. I use nailtique from the drug store very succesfully.

Perfect Formula contains formaldehyde, that is a no no on nails. I use Duri Rejuvacote Forumla 2 or Sally Hansen Miracle Growth treatment.

I use both and they work for me. I use the T.I.P.S. when my cuticule skin needs extra attention and the skin around the nail is dry, peeling or callused from too much work.
Perfect Formula I use all the time. It's my nail protector, base coat, color and top coat. I find that it seals moisture into my nail especially when I get into the heavy gardening, cleaning mode. I wear rubber gloves but my nails seem better with this system.
I also use A.S.K. polish remover. This is key. It's a conditioning polish remover tht is non drying and no stripping. A little goes a long way which is also a good thing.
I use Pro Strong nail enamel when I want a color shade on my nails. It doesn't dry out my nail and lasts and lasts. Pro Strong makes a complete line of nail products that include a similiar product to T.I.P.S. and another nail strengthener that you can apply over any other nail product. I've used them all and have been pleased. They have kits which is a good way to try to decide.
I take medication that reallys drys out my skin and weakens my nails so that is how I created the combination that works for me. IMO all these brands are good. It depends on what your specific needs are and your budget. Hope you have the same good results that I do.
