As we are in the middle of what is supposed to be "The Most...WonDerFUL time of the year!", to many, it is not so much so. Some have lost loved ones this year, some our struggling financially or emotionally. Whatever the reason, we are surrounded by people that need a lift. It could even be you. I thought it would be fun to start a "Pay it Forward Friday" thread on the Beauty Board because real beauty starts in the heart. Do some random act of kindness for someone every week and then share with others what you did. It may be to pay for the person behind you in a drive through, it may be to bake something and take to your local fire or police station (got to luv on our first responders), get an extra hot cup of coffee and give it to someone standing at a bus stop on these freezing cold days, take some flowers you get at a grocery to a nursing home and asked them to give it to someone that needs a pick me up, grab some $5.00 gift cards from Starbucks or McDonald's have them ready to give away when you see someone that tugs on your heart strings..(hmm, someone in their military fatigues comes to mind)..the list goes on.. Lots of things we can do and they don't have to cost a lot. The return you will get is greater than what it will do for the recipient.

Today I am "regifting" a $100 gift card that I received many months ago. There is a man that works where I do who has a wife and child. He makes $8.50 an hour to support his family. I gave him my gift card in a Christmas Card that he will get when he picks up his paycheck. We have never formally met. I just had the God whisper to do it this morning and am so excited for him to get it. What will you do? Share your story!!
