Mine is the pump. I hate wasting productsSmiley Sad
I don't know how long you've had it but she has now gone to a dropper system due to issues with the pump. Perhaps you can email the about the issue if it hasn't been too long and see if they can replace it?
Thank you! I will do that HappyDaze.
No problem, good luck!

I've had that happen twice with the NCN vitamin C and no one else said anything so I thought it was just me that had this happen. I never bought it from them again.

I agree with HappyDaze. Nancy is really adamant that her serum is more stable than others on the market. I would think it should at least have a six month shelf life. Good luck!

Is it beneficial to use a Vit C serum that has turned a brownish shade, thanks.

I would NOT use a Vitamin C Serum that has turned brown. That means it has oxidized. I'm not sure if it would irritate you or not but it wouldn't be effective.

I agree. I also read some studies that showed it could actually be damaging to the skin to use oxidized vit c, although nothing definitive. I guess personally I wouldn't risk it.

I agree, I don't want to take the chance. I could test it on my arm but if it lost its effectiveness then it's no use. Thanks ladies.

I had gotten a Skin Brightening Serum from Pur Minerals, it also turned brown, a light brown. they told me to go ahead and sue it, because the C was only one ingredient in there and there are so many other beneficial ingredients in the formula. I am going to finish it, but not on my face, only on chest area for a few discolorations. It was only an ounce to start, so it wont last long. Thanks, ladies.

My friend told me that her skinceutical vit c bottle label states that vit c may darken and it is normal and that it can be used. It is still effective.

That is really strange. What type of vitamin C is in it? If it is anything but L-ascorbic, it might be fine (although personally I wouldn't take the chance). If it is has L-ascorbic in it, that really doesn't sound right as darkening of the product would indicate oxidation.
