I have ONE eyeshadow palette...Laura Geller's Vanity Favorites (don't think it's available anymore). It's 16 colors, I think, but they are all neutrals and a mix of mattes and shimmers, no glitter. At 67 I can wear them all. I can do a very light daytime look, or bump up as much as i want. 

I also have a couple of her Kajal liners that I use as shadows--Petal Pink, very light shimmer, and Khaki, which is completely matte.

I don't wear eyeshadow more than a couple times a week, since I'm retired, and these are more than sufficient.

@JeanLouiseFinch  - They accept skincare and haircare products.  I follow a You Tuber that has worked with them.  They are able to sanitize gently used products and help women in need.

 I finally trashed all but 2 of them, must have had 8 at least--my DD has a collection she does use tho---I have neutral colors that I use now----don't need the fancy colors anymore.
