Outset is fairly expensive.  I would not hesitate to return if it is defective.    For the price of this line, I would not consider it trouble to get a refund if you deserve it.  I wouldn't let them keep my money.

You do NOT need the original packaging.

Print a return label and mark it defective.  Pack it in anything you have.

Go online to USPS.com and schedule a free pickup.  Stick it in your mailbox.

Verify they give you a full refund.

How are they defective, @RespectLife?  @elruth stated that she was able to get the tops off (aka the caps) and the pumps were there.  They aren't defective, they just had a tight fitting cap.  It would be dishonest to send them back as defective IMO.

@JeanLouiseFinch

I didn't say they were defective....the OP did by stating there were no pumps.

She wrote they were defective......no need to scold me!

I didn't see her 2nd post when I typed mine.  I responded to the first post.

Maybe if she would have edited the first post I may have seen it.

Umm, I didn't scold you.  She never used the word "defective".  I asked for your reasoning in support of your comment?   Maybe you should have read both of her comments before responding instead of blaming her.  đź¤·â€Ťâ™€ď¸Ź

Another update. The pump on the mosturizer didn't work and there was just a small amt of inaccesible product in the  bottom of the jar. No need to scold me re: having someone else benefit from it. I just threw out the packinging, not the product.

@JeanLouiseFinch

I didn't blame her at all!

If pieces are missing which she stated.....it IS defective.

I made a suggestion that she certainly can return something that is wrong even if she didn't have the original packaging!!

I was being helpful but apparently you missed my point.

I often do not read all the pages but respond to a particular post.

MANY people do that.

@JeanLouiseFinch

If you now read her update,   She is saying it IS defective.  Please see post #13 which was posted.

@elruth

You can return if those pumps are not working....if you need assistance...you can call CS or email the moderators.

They are very helpful.

If there is any kind of liquid involved, we can't mail it back but that doesn't mean you are not entitled to a refund for a defective product.  Good Luck!!

Like a fool, I bought the Outset small cleanser, small moisturizer and serum. There is NO PUMP on the serum or the moisturizer. Very $$$ for what you get. I threw out the package and it is too much trouble for me to repack it anyway and return it. Really blah packaging. Anyone else get a serum that has no pump? Should I call customer service ot is that a lost cause?

@elruth  I hope that customer service gives you a full refund on these items. I'm sorry that happened to you.
