I thought the ladies and gents looked fabulous-----for the most part. Liza Minelli was a total scary mess!! And I was slightly embarrassed for Kim Novak. Goldie is still trying to capture her youth with her style----she needs a re-do. Lupita was an ethereal angle in her light blue gown. Bettes voice isn't what it used to be but she looked great. I didn't notice any too bright cheeks but do think lips need to be more colorful. The men were dreamy!!!!

I did not notice any bright cheeks. Their MU was natural and subdued - a look i hope is going to be a trend going forward for a long time. I think everyone is tired of the patent leather looking lips and smokey eyes that are so obviously makeup.

annabelle - I also saw the Eva Marie Saint interview. She's a genuinely elegant and beautiful woman. 89 years old! Wow. A true beauty inside and out.

Kim Novak was incoherent. I couldn't understand what she was saying. It looked as though she had her faced pulled horizontally - odd.

Goldie Hawn needs to stop with the plastic surgery. She's a hot mess.

I saw the interview with Eva Marie St., too. What a lovely lady and I so respect her for aging naturally.

Wow...Kim Novak. Her face actually looked painful to speak. I thought Sally Field good. She is aging but still has a youthful quality about her.

More red lips than I expected?

I notice the skin -- it looked moist and youthful (I'm picturing Cate Blanchett as I'm typing this). They probably were buried under 3 inches of makeup, but whatever, it looked like they had healty, glowing skin.

No heavy makeup jumped out at me -- but I tuned in really late and wasn't glued to the screen. I didn't see Goldie or Kim Novak, but you can believe I'm going to Google their pics now! :-) I don't understand how these people who have pots of money and can afford the best, end up looking so altered and unnatural. I honestly wonder if it's kind of like anorexia -- they don't see what they REALLY look like.

Ahhhh, no one noticed the cheeks, lol. Maybe it was my TV color.

I agree about Goldie. Time to look like a mature woman. Hair needed a trim, face too much stretching. These people have so much money, how come they cannot find plastic surgeons who won't make a mess of their faces?

Sandra Bullock looked beautiful, but a bit too much blush. I guess it's difficult when doing make-up to know how it's going to come across on TV.

I'm happy Lupita won, but not so sure about the dress. I think she might have looked better in another color and more dress detail on the front (gathers, lace whatever) since she is so thin.

Oh Kim Kim Kim--what did you do to your beautiful face? Too much of something, and her chin looked very, very odd. I agree with those who saw Eva Marie Saint--what a beautiful, natural lady--still sexy at 89!
