Maybe it's my OCD, but I always keep my beauty kits together ( BM, Mally) and only wear them together. I'll keep them in a baggie and find it takes up more room than if I just incorporated them with my other makeup. I was just wondering what everyone else does!

I have a small decorative box on my bathroom countertop. Inside you'll find my "kit" of makeup items I wear on a daily basis. It has different brands, no one brand dominates it and it changes throughout the year. I keep my "stock" in a cabinet under the counter and items are grouped by category..Woman Happy.ie liners, lipsticks, foundation etc.

I organize things by categories -- primers, foundation, eyeliners, mascaras, etc.  If I get a kit, it never stays together because it can always be used with other things.

My bathroom counter is loaded with so many skincare items...my makeup drawer is cleaned out every couple of months but it's definitely not organized and I have a variety of items I use and my brands vary. I can see how some would organize by brand or items though.

I have two bathrooms.  My on-suite one is full of my skincare and makeup on the counter.

I don't know why I feel the need to keep kits together. It actually takes up more space. I really have to put aside some time to get myself organized!

Why must you if it makes you happy.  Perhaps your way is wisest.  What if the colors or formulations work best together as received in your kits?  I hear Laura Geller say she customizes her kits according to color, Mally too.  There are a lot of complaints about some concealers and finishing non-powder finishing powders that play well with each other but are disastrous with products from other lines.

Maybe be you just need a prettier set of clear, zippered cosmetic bags?

I love ive the acrylic drawer towers.  You can find them on Q and on Amazo.  You can select drawer depth and  arrange a custom tower in which you can see what you have, keep your sets together and add as many as you need as you add to your collection.

The only " you should" I want to suggest is that you should periodically dispose of of outdated perishables especially cream foundations and mascara. Painful if you do it all at once but worth it to save your eye and skin health.

enjoy being exactly who you are.  If it pleases you it's right for you! It's your stuff!

I break down all my kits into categories.  I like it better that way because I can see what I have. Plus, I use whatever I feel like it at the moment, regardless of brand or configuration.

All organized in a makeup trolley by cosmetic item  (i.e. blush lipstick eye shadow).

I don't usually buy kits, but all my makeup is stored in a clear acrylic organizer that I purchased at Target. It has enough compartments that I can organize items by categories. I don't have a ton of things, but there are lots of options out here for storing and organizing makeup whether your collection is small or large or somewhere in between.
