I'll be having surgery on my right arm, and I am right handed. I won't be able to use my arm for a few weeks, but I'll be going back to work before the time comes where I can begin using my arm.

I'd like to find a hair dryer with a brush attached or something that I can use with one arm.

Any suggestions for a good one that will dry hair fast and is lightweight??

Thank you!

I have had three shoulder surgeries and bought the stand for my hair dryer.  I have short hair so it worked really well for me.  Best of luck to you.

I hope you have some front-hooking bras.  When I injured my shoulder a few years ago, that was my major dilemma.  Never mind the hairdryer...just get me in a bra!

Hook it in the front and then turn it around. That's how I always did if when I was a young girl to the old broad that I am today!

Check on the hot air brushes when you are on Amazon.  There are brushes in various sizes that will dry  your hair at the same time you are styling it.  It can work really well when arm use is limited.  Just a one handed blow dryer would leave my hair a wild crazy mess as I need a round brush to control the waves.  My hot air brush takes care of both needs at the same time.

Best of luck on whatever you decide on.  FYI ....... Be sure that the hot air brush dries the hair as not all of them do.  Some just style but don't dry which is what I think you need.
