I am in meno and I am making up for all the years that my skin was perfect. I get blemishes every once in awhile and I have used TTO, Missha Blemish Patch and SSC Dri-Lo. All good products that work. My last blemish on my cheek kept coming and going so I pulled out a sample from Ulta's of Murad Clearing Solution. It is a lotion. I put it on the spot and it really helped with calming the redness and getting rid of the blemish without drying my skin out. Just thought I'd share. It is on ebay for a very good price.

For occasional pimples, I sometimes crush an aspirin and add a little water to make a paste. Put that on your skin and let it dry. After 10 or 15 minutes, rinse it off. It will reduce the redness and swelling.
The only caveat is aspirin is a blood thinner, so don't overdo using it, especially if this is an issue for you as it will be absorbed through your skin.
