Oh no! LG TSV delivery problems

[ Edited ]

Woe is me.  My much anticipated Laura Geller TSV had an expected delivery date of the 18th - yesterday.  Today is the 19th, and still no delivery.  When I checked the tracking, it shows that it departed Smyrna, Texas on the 14th, arrived here at USPS, and "package acceptance" was "pending." Then nothing.

Now today it says this:

Your package may be delayed. We are adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible.

Has anyone else experienced this message with a delivery?  I'm worried that if I do finally receive this, one or more of the products will have crumbled from all of the handling.  Fooey!!

ETA Not sure why my message posted in two columns like this.

I've gotten that message many times and I've always gotten my item. It basically just means they're backed up at the post office.

Re: Oh no! LG TSV delivery problems

@shoesnbags

I got mine today. The foundation compact was smashed & the inside was all dusty with powder. I was so disappointed.

I've been ordering from QVC for over 30 years. This is the 2nd order, in the past couple weeks, that arrived damaged inside. I honestly don't recall any other damaged orders until this year. Both times the outside (shipping box) didn't show any damage. I think they're just not packing stuff as well as before. The LG order had just a tiny bit of brown packing paper. It wasn't even wadded up- just flat. The other order was the Lock 'n Lock TSV. They had no packing- just a plastic bag around the sets in the shipping box. The largest one had a huge crack down one side. And the set sold out in the color I ordered. 😢

Hope you get your LG TSV & it's not all crumbly like mine.

I, too, have received that message many times, and always get my packages.  I think when they are short on staff, it happens.  Not to worry.

Yes, have been tracking one similar to you, It appears to be lost.  You can email QVC's Social Team at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com with your order number and explanation.  QVC will replace it, but they might ask you to wait a little longer.

Enter your tracking number at Ship24.com to see what you get.  There might be a third party shipper  involved.  Tracking there showed Newgistics (division of Pitney Bowes) was involved in my shipping along with UPS and USPS.  Tracking for my package shows up on Newgistics' website, but it stops at December 30.  So does USPS and UPS.

QVC tracking shows my package was delivered to my local post office on Jan 4.  Who entered that on my account?  Again, UPS and USPS said their tracking stops at December 30.

If you want to try Newgistics tracking, too, use Bing as your search engine.  Google takes you to Pitney Bowes and as I said Pitney Bowes tracking had nothing on my tracking number.

As a less than 2 lb package, clothing, your order  should have been sent UPS Mail Innovations by UPS and USPS. That's what both told me when I contacted my USPS local Postmaster and the UPS Mail Innovations Department. They said this was a Mail Innovations delivery.  They do not use Newgistics or Pitney Bowes for UPS Mail Innovations.

The Postmaster said USPS did not receive any package with my tracking number.

I'm trying to find out how Newgistics got involved and if they are responsible for my lost package. Why?  Because, they are not supposed to be involved in UPS Mail Innovations, it appears someone lied when they entered false tracking information on my QVC account, who is responsible for the lost package, and QVC didn't inform us they were using a third party shipper for UPS Mail Innovations.  Maybe, you can help.

If you would, please return here to tell us what you found.  I'm interested in all names of the shippers involved in your delivery.  Thanks.

@shoesnbags  That happened to another forum member. She called CS and they offered a mini B-n-B to make up for it.  I'd call them, but insist that they replace exactly what was broken with a full size compact.  If they only offer a mini, tell them you'll take two.

Spoiler

Lots of times.  That message is entered by the "shipping partner" who delivers to the post office.  They're diddling around and will get it there eventually.  Those delivery dates are always "estimated", not firm.

Yes, I've gotten that message a few times.

Some packages were delayed just a day or two, other times longer.  But I did get them all with no problems.

@FoxxeeShop24.com takes me to a website with a foreign language in a foreign script that looks kind of Russian.  I tried twice in case I had mis-typed the website address.  What gives?
