She is changing lots of her formulas. I am really missing her original sunscreen. It was my all time favorite.

I am on advance order for her new SPF 47, now I'm worried I won't like it like I did her original tinted moist?

Hmmm... the SPF 47 moisturizer isn't a replacement for the original tinted moisturizer, which is still available and comes in a tube. Do you mean the Matchmaster self-adjusting tinted moisturizer that came in a bottle? QVC was the first to sell that and I had some. It probably was a hybrid of her original moisturizer with sunscreen and the Matchmaster foundation. That was discontinued a while back and there's no replacement for that one. You could try the Matchmaster Serum Foundation, but it doesn't have sunscreen.

If you have a Sephora in your area or a JC Penny with a Sephora inside, it's worth going in for a sample before buying online. The Sephora website even lets you check stock in local stores, including Sephora stores inside JC Penny stores.

Good luck - I'll keep my fingers cross that you'll like the new SPF 47!

I think she is referring to the Protect and Perfect- it is in a jar like the regular SPF is but has a tint to it. It was discontinued for a bit while it was being reformulated and will be out in the upcoming TSV.

She still has the matchmaker foundation that self-adjusts and it does not have SPF in it.

it was in a glass bottle with a pump, it was not called matchmaker, I thought it was just Tinted Moist, I really cannot remember the name, I just remember it lasted me forever and when I went to buy it again it was gone so, I was HOPING that the SPF in the upcoming TSV is the one I am looking for!

yes that that is the Protect and Perfect one I am referring to. Looked like this:

And the new reformulated version of it is in the upcoming TSV.

HAPPYDAZE - By Golly, I think that's it and I am so happy that she brought it back. We were in Maui last year and I wore mine from forehead to bust line and never did burn or tan for that matter so I know it protected me well, that's when I used mine all up!!

Hm I tried her original one when it first came out and didn't like it -irritating, drying, left a weird taste in my mouth oddly and could not use it on my eyes. I remember it being thick-ish. I tried her Model Citizen version one several months ago and liked that one better but it was super thick like you mention and although it was nicer than the original, I just didn't like how thick it was. Like honey, just like you said. It still left a funky taste in my mouth but it was not drying or irritating like her original. You didn't get the model citizen one by chance, did you?

HD, I bought the Model a Citizen one, too, and it's soooooooo thick. BUT, about halfway through the bottle it seemed to thin down. So strange. I had gone from using cleansing oil to remove eye MU, to oil for face, and eye MU remover, because I was afraid the MC would rip out my lashes or break them, even with a gentle touch. Now, I can use it on my eyes. It's bizarre, but at least I can go back to one product now!

That is weird- almost like some of the ingredients are breaking down over time or something? I haven't even gotten through 1/4 of my bottle because I just love my other cleansing oil so much I don't want to use anything else. I will probably just end up using Josie's on my body.

HD, either that, or maybe heavier ingredients kind of settled at the bottom, and that's what the pump was picking up? You'll have to let me know if yours does this. On a side note -- did you receive your LaLicious? If so, how did you like them? I got two of the lip products, and for future reference, there is no peppermint oil in them. I don't like it in my lip products, either. Dries them out like crazy. I LOVE the lip balm, and have been using it at night. It's a thinner texture when applied, but very smooth and moisturizing.

She has two formulas one for face (Thicker) One for body. No changes unless you got a batch that went bad sitting around in a sales case too long.

I never tried her original formula but I tried the one she has now and I agree - the consistency is awful - it does feel like honey! ugh!

Re: Oh how I miss Josie Maran's old formula for her cleansing face oil.

I got the TSV already on an advanced order and this is definitely not even close to the old formula. In fact, I don't care for the Argon Milk like I thought I would, I like the plain old oil the best. The blush in this kit disappears, like most oily bushes and was expected. The SPF says lightly tinted, but it still rubs off on my hats, headbands, etc. REALLY, really, miss the original SPF she had. No tint, lots of slip and glow. I have not found one yet to compare to that one. I have a tiny bit left, it expired in June but still works{#emotions_dlg.sad}

Re: Oh how I miss Josie Maran's old formula for her cleansing face oil.

The formula of the cleansing oil definitely changed, and not for the better. The original formula had argan oil high on the ingredient list. Sunflower and safflower seed oils are now higher on the list and they are apparently much thicker than argan oil.

If you want to buy from the Q, the Bare Minerals Mineralixir cleansing oil is very nice.
