Off Topic When Do You Know to Let go of a Relationship

I've been in a long term relationship for many years and we've always both been so busy with work school and unfortunately became somewhat distant from each other. I still want to make it work. He's the only one I've ever wanted to marry and be the father of my kids and have a family with. I can't imagine meeting someone else I could feel as comfortable with and love.

Any advice or similar situations?
