Nah, I'm pretty sure either Q or Chaz limited how many they'd sell at the OTO price, which is reasonable IMO.

it happens with almost every OTO (even non-WEN ones). And people getting swept up in the frenzy and then later have buyers remorse and cancel some.

I don't know if that is true or not. Has someone called customer service? In any event, the Fig if ordered last night when all scents became available was not waitlisted...but mine is still waitlisted. (FIG).

I appreciate that it was a good value and a kit that didn't have SC, which is what I've been asking for for a very long time. Some of us don't go through SC very quickly (I have very short hair and only use a pea size amount), so for me any kit with styling cream isn't a value because I just don't need that many bottles.

DogLvr, it's probably a good idea to give QVC CS a call while the FIG is still showing as available.

This thread has some interesting information on getting a sold out TSV the following day. I don't know if it will apply in this case but it may be worth a try:

A QVC CS rep once told me that it takes them a while to do a credit check on everyone's credit cards and some of them aren't approved. So those kits become available again at a later time.

The total cost for this OTO is $108.15 which includes shipping and handling. So there is an additional $18 in shipping and handling. Absolutely absurd.

In any event, if the Fig is back in stock, why wouldn't my order immediately get updated?

It is still waitlisted.

I am new to the posting on the boards although have been reading for a while. You WEN ladies are just so helpful! I just called CS and they honored the OTO price. I was able to get Tea Tree.

No, the OTO was 89.12, shipping was 8.72 and my tax ( varies by state) was 7.58 for a total of 105.42

QVC has no control over what the state tax is and that sales tax isn't shipping or handling.
