What do you do when you check the tracking here on QVC and it says delivered but it was not? Do you give it a day? I've never had this happen before and it would have been two smaller packages. Could UPS be behind and figure they'd show it delivered but will deliver it tomorrow? No one rang the door bell either. TIA.

That's strange. I don't think they'd scan ahead - i.e. show as delivered before the actual delivery. I'd start by calling UPS and see what they have to say.

The same thing happened to me, but it was "delivered" by the USPS. It was an ebay item. I guess it must have been delivered to the wrong house. I plan to call the PO in the morning, but I guess they can't really do anything about it unless the seller insured the item. Every detail of the transaction is detailed when I click on the tracking number. I hope the seller doesn't think that I am trying to pull a fast one. It seems like if they are going to mark a package as delivered that they can take a little extra time to make sure the house number matches the one on the package.

If I were you, I would call UPS. I'll bet your package was also delivered to the wrong house.

Same thing happened to me. They delivered to my neighbor.

I would notify qvc right away. If it says it's been delivered it probably has. They scan it into a computer at the time of delivery. Was it UPS or USPS? Sometimes I forget and think something is at my door but it's actually locked in a box at my mail box. Oops I see it's UPS. I'd call qvc and have them deal with it. They re-sent my order when that happened to me once.

I've also read where UPS puts the package(s) somewhere if you're not at home or if yu don't answer. One person said she found it a long time later on her back porch (or something like that) where she never went. So that may have happened?

I think you should notify UPS if it's not in your begonias :-)

I hate ups. I had a package scheduled for today, then they changed delivery till tomorrow so i spent an hour trying to arrange a pickup in person but it turns out its on the truck for delivery even tho they tracking did not say so. I was so pi*sed. I prefer fedex it is super easy to schedule an in-person pick up. Your package was most likely delivered to the wrong address

That happened to me recently with a package from the post office. I called the post office, and the supervisor said he would talk with my mail carrier to see what happened. She delivered it the next day. I have no idea what happened.

Since UPS now goes through USPS with some packages, the package could of been delivered to the post office but not to you. Our UPS delivers around noon and the mail carriers leave in the morning so the package doesn't get delivered that day.

We have a certain place for the UPS or USPS person to put our packages if we are gone. But we have wonderful people on both services.

I'd give it till the next day's delivery. I've had that happen at least 3 or 4 times with USPS and I've always gotten the package the next day. I've never asked, but I think if they find the package when they get back to the post office they only have two codes - one indicating the package was delivered and one that there was no one home, a note has been left and package can be picked up at the post office. The second code has ended up with me sending irate emails because (of course) there was no note (because they simply missed delivering) and one time I had literally been waiting for the deliver so I would have heard a knock on the door and the other I had actually spoken to the delivery person and indicated there should be another package in addition to the one he handed me.

Also, if the package has been shipped UPS using the USPS for actual delivery, you can go to the UPS website and view the tracking there. Near the bottom you can get the USPS tracking number.

Oh, and yes, UPS drivers have "hidden" smaller packages (i.e., put them where they were inconspicuous to anyone walking by) a couple of times so that I actually had to look for them (and I only have a small patio outside my apartment).
