I try very hard not to get into negativity here on these boards, or address it, but omg, I am so confused as to why some would choose to make the rude and unnecessary comments on this thread.

I learned the hard way that I need to wait until at least mid-November to start my Christmas shopping or I will just keep buying! I love shopping during the holidays. I can't afford to spend and spend and spend! lol...

Ignore the nasty remarks. I'm sure you know what your grandkids like, and I bet they will be thrilled. I don't think of shopping until October so I think it's great you're almost finished.

Nitestar, some folks just aren't too smart. Some are just jealous. I guess the summer heat is getting to them LOL! They're probably the ones that get too stressed out during the regular shopping season maxing out their credit cards and not finish paying for Christmas until Summer. So maybe they have just finished paying for last year's Christmas.

hey kachina Hallmark is having their Christmas ornament premiere this weekend July 12-13 and they are showing Christmas movies on their Hallmark Channel. Want to tell all those millions people who are participating in these events to get a hobby or volunteer? Tell us what are your hobbies and your volunteering activities? It's not impossible to volunteer and Christmas shop early you know. So please do not be so ignorant and rude!

Well, planners and organizers understand the benefits of early shopping... I've also started to pick up some Christmas gifts. Why do some posters feel the need or "right" to post a nasty comment? She is one of several who do it often, yet they are so ra-ra about their personal interests, including photos of plastic hands. Says alot about a person's character to snip about Christmas. Geez.

Let's see. is there a non-crazy side to this story?

Of course, no fighting the crowds, can return till 1-31-15, spread the payments out, you don't have to worry about what to buy and did I mention not having to find a parking place and walk forever trying to find the perfect gift.
