OT - Anyone else unable to view QVC videos?

I've tried both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Is it QVC's issue, or should I try yet another browser? I'm not really tech-savvy, so any advice is appreciated. This has just started happening today, BTW.

Okay -- I just went to the TSV and the video played just fine. I'm on Safari (Mac) but I doubt that both Explorer and Chrome would be experiencing difficulties. Have you totally rebooted your system? Sometimes I have to do that. Always a last ditch effort, but it usually works. :-)

Thanks for replying! It's only on QVC that I'm having this issue. I'm able to see youtube, clips from other sites, etc. Just not QVC - it's so strange.

Re: OT - Anyone else unable to view QVC videos?

Hi, Colonel Meow! Sorry you're having problems. I think QVC just made a few more "tweaks" to the website, and every time that happens it causes problems.

I just checked and I can view them (iMac) using Firefox, Chrome and Safari. (I never use IE.) I can see them on my iPad and iPhone, too.

Be sure to delete the browser's cookies, cache, website data and then relaunch the browser. Also, check to be sure you have the current version of browser software and Adobe Flash Player.

hth!Smile

I just watched a different QVC video -- again, no prob. Just try to reboot -- I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's my answer to everything. :-)

Actually, hope someone comes along who might have an idea of WHAT is causing the prob for you, and how to resolve it.

I'm using iPad, works fine using a Safari browser. A while ago didn't used to work with iPad.

Hi, MarenSeattle! A computer reboot probably won't help since these video glitches are usually a result of either a problem with an older software version of the browser or of Adobe Flash Player, or the browser cookies/cache need to be deleted.

dooBdoo - Thank you!!! I changed my privacy settings in Chrome so I could better manage my cookies. I just checked, and I'm finally able to watch the video for the TSV! Thatnks to you, too, Maren, for trying to help! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Thanks! I actually clear my history and clear my cookies, and usually that does the trick. But as I said, when in doubt (and I'm always pretty clueless) I go for the reboot. :-) So glad you came along to help! :-)
