ORDERED LAURA MERCIER TINT SPF 30

Finally got to Ulta today, and boy am I glad because I got to sample some makeup I've been looking at online.   Wow, what a difference colors are in person.   The Nars tinted moisturizer in lightest shade was too dark, very yellow.  They had a few Of Bobbi Brown, but not in light, so I couldn't see  actual color, but I tested the medium just for feel.  @Shanus , I did test the corrector and concealer, in the wand type...I hope I like it when mine comes.  Just did on back of hand, hard to tell.  As for many tinted moisturizers I sampled, I was turned off by too much yellow, or orange.  Thankfully they had Laura Mercier, tint spf 30.  I loved the shade ON1, very light, no yellow,  so I came home and ordered online with 15% off.

I ordered soooo much stuff last 2 weeks,  that's it for me.

Waiting on LG blush, eye pencil and lipstick,  and Waiting on BB corrector and concealer, and kiehls eye cream...better love everything.

@Dazlin -;Congratulations on your wonderful purchases! It's so much better when you can actually see things and try them in person. You mentioned some of my favorite brands, although I've never tried Kiehl's. LG blush is definitely my favorite, even though I do have a few others I like.

I usually try to take DD with me to check shades, then order them here. If someone spends a lot of time with me in the store, I will buy it there.

Have fun playing when everything gets to you!    Smiley Happy

@Dazlin   It's not clear if cream BB corrector and concealer are on the way and also the wand type. I find the concealer in wand way too drying for under the eyes and use it to spot conceal.

Fortuneatly, though not for everyone, many foundations have a more yellow tint, most lines, even the lighter ivory shades. They're meant to counteract any redness. That's why I suggest a tinted moisturizer or a lighter coverage foundation and then use concealer where needed.

@Shanus , yes I ordered the wand concealer, and the corrector in the little pan.  I thought I read somewhere you didn't like the sticks, that they're drying...but oh well, they're on the way from macys,  and I can return them up to 90 days.  Honestly, if if I don't like these, I think im done buying all different things, and just going to use up what I have...I spent over $80 on these, very pricey IMO.  So they'll go back if I'm unhappy.

@Dazlin   I agree that trying a lot of new items can be costly. I've stayed w/ mostly Bobbi Brown because my shade of foundation, concealers are perfect for me.I've tried others and always go back.

The BB correctors and concealers should last a very long time. Corrector only goes on the darkest areas and tapped in. The same with a concealer...not wiped across the entire under eye. The warmth of fingers help to blend it in so it's seamless. Both of these seem to last me at least almost 9 months.
