I have not posted since Oct because my life has been crazy. Divorce was final last week. Things have settled down now & I can take pause & breathe! I did not forget my friends on here but read through the last posting many times. You can't know how much strength I drew from that :-). My life has changed dramatically but for the most part is good. I have rented a lovely home on the lake & my 17 yo daughter lives with me full time & 16 yo son half time. I'm still caring for my elderly mother but am on break from that as she is visiting my sister in RI. We are all settled in & it's ok. Emotionally I still have good days & bad days but I think more good than bad. Improvement! Just had a bad haircut (she used thinning shears on my fine hair) made it frizzy & thin. It made me cry. Haircuts have never made me cry before. Oh well, it will grow. Hopefully will be all grown out by summer. I' m planning a vacation with my 27 yo daughter over spring break & I got a tattoo. Who knows what's next, lol! Just wanted to drop in & say "hi!" Stay warm, beauties :-)

I just had to reply and say good for you, you sound like a strong woman and I think you are doing great and will find a much happier place in your heart to reside. I am in a marriage that has died at least ten years ago and will be getting divorce soon also, so I can relate to what you have been through. We live here in New Jersey and don't see how we could afford two dwellings, so we will live here together for some time. It is fine as we are friends now and that is it, just roommates raising a teenage son on the spectrum, (high functioning aspergers). We have been married 26 years, and this is not what I thought my life would be, but I too hope for a more happy place in the future for me.

Get some Redken Rewind, it's great for your kind of hair and used properly, won't weigh your hair down. Small amount, rub in hand and apply to the ends (stay away from the roots)

On a positive note, look at all the money you saved in returned shipping since you were so busy...............

Aww, thanks for all the good wishes!!!! My new tattoo says "M'aimer pour qui je suise". Love me for who I am, in French. Now, I'm not sure I'd ever have a tattoo- but I love it! It's on my back/shoulder area. The tattoo artist asked if my husband liked what it said. Told him, there's no husband. Just my dog & he loves me. Hahaha... I'd need to be strapless, in a cami or swimsuit for it to be seen. I think even a tank top would cover it. I am turning out to be stronger than I ever thought I'd be. (Thx JoElla!!!). I was a mess before I left, crying & curled up in a ball on my bed. Now I have a new bed my ex has never slept in so it's not tainted, lol, and I sleep just fine! I threw away all my underwear & bought new...silly stuff, I know but it somehow makes me feel better knowing he's never gonna see me in my new pretty panties! Dsky: I'll be thinking of you...this not how I thought my life would be either, starting over at 54, can't dwell too much or I get sad. Wishing you happiness too, hon!
