I hate snow now that I am an adult. I can't go to work and that means I may have to work Saturday. Snow is a pain unless you are a kid or school teacher!

Even though I work in schools and this is my 5th day off this year, I am tired of the snow. It is pretty to look at (I live across from a park) but the driving is horrible. Someone slid into my car in a parking lot on Monday and broke a light on the side of my car and just left. It's only minor, a $36 part, but the fact that someone will hit a car and not leave a note is disappointing. But that's nothing compared to the terrible spin-outs I've seen in the past month. I feel lucky to be all in one piece!

I hope you don't have to work Saturday. Better days are ahead!

I LOVE snow. It is so pretty when it is f-lling. It's not fun to drive in but it is still very pretty.

Another huge snow fan here, in CO! I think certain states handle winter weather better than others. Driving in it for us is a normal thing and, for the most part, people handle it very well. Further, snow is a wonderful thing for Earth's watersheds. Snowpack that melts in spring is critical. In fact, it's very troubling that climate change has reduced snowfall in so many regions around the U.S. and world.

I LOVE SNOW. I don't mind the inconvenience, and I don't mind staying at home - it's the most beautiful thing to watch it fall, and for just a little while it makes the whole world clean and sparkling. Bring on the snow!

In the deep south ice is our problem, but then again, many people don't know how to drive and decide to go out in this mess. I'm at home, warm, and doing a bit of work from here just so tomorrow isn't so smashing. We have less than a half inch of ice on the roads and bridges, but we don't have salting equipment. The road department has put gravel on the bridges, but with so many bridges over creeks and rivers down here, it doesn't pay to increase your odds by driving far to work or anywhere.

Our college has been affected, too. It is just a major disruption, and I am constantly having to eliminate important material and/or talking at break neck speed. Other than that, I don't mind the snow.

What else can you do, except to enjoy it while you're home!

Love snow. We clear it so fast here that I have to enjoy it quickly. Oh well, winter is not over and there might be a few more chances at it.

Most people here in the South don't know how to drive, let alone in snow and ice. It is very dangerous, and on a good day my commute is 30 minutes. Waiting to see what tomorrow's school decision is. I have reminded my principal that of all the teachers I live in a different county, and the farthest distance.

I hate snow too. Yesterday we had to have our roofs shoveled because the snow was so deep. Roofs were beginning to collapse around town.
