O/T for QVC old timers

I'm trying to remember the name of the lady who sold on QVC MANY years ago. She sold jewelry and other things, I believe, very artifactual, she was in fashion but also an art historian - had a black bob haircut and I want to say her first name was Mary but I could so be wrong. Driving me crazy that I can't think of her name. You know that game, if you could choose anyone, whom would you choose to come to a dinner party - she'd be one of my fantasy guests. Greatly appreciate any enlightenment.
