O/T: What Happened To Quality?

Sorry to vent but what is going on with quality these days? This is all in the past year:

I bought a No No from HSN, it arrived with a broken tip. I bought two makeup kits from QVC, both had broken pieces. I ordered a necklace from HSN, the chain broke the next day. I ordered a bag from Ebay, it arrived with the straps broken. I ordered a bag from QVC, there was hair and garbage in it. I bought a bag in the store, the handle broke the next day. I just bought a kit from Victoria's Secret, the makeup bag it came in is broken. Are companies sending out junk or do I have the worst luck in the world?

I feel like this is a big red flag to stop shopping. More red flags than the Chinese Embassy. Also, I do have bigger problems than somethnig so stupid as this but I just needed to vent to my fellow shoppers who would understand!
