I was a BlackBerry fanatic for a very long time, to the point where I bought the Z10 with no research. 8 months in, I switched to an iPhone and fell in love. I downloaded apps for 3 weeks straight. I keep my BlackBerry at work and use it as a wi-fi tablet when I forget my iPhone.

I forgot my iPhone today. I went to sync my audiobooks only to find out that yet another app has been discontinued! The only thing I can use it for now is music and surfing.

They (RIM) were once a powerful company with a loyal fan base. They dropped the ball and the developers stopped creating apps, then the users went to iPhone and Droid.

okay, I'm done.

I had two Pearls and then the Torch. I loved that phone! It was the best of both worlds. They had opened the App Store and things were getting better. So I hung in. Then RIM said they were pulling back to their Business customer base. I knew that meant it was all as good as it was going to get. So I got an HTC One X the second it came out. It's great. App heaven, like you said. Then I got the Z10 weeks before it came out. We have a donor who is an AT&T bigwig. I thought I'd love BB again. BUT though I ADORE the Hub and how freakin' fast the Z10 is, I've now been spoiled by a big beautiful screen and every app I'll ever want. Plus, I can never find it in my purse when it rings because of the dorky plain black flip case. I just can only use it for a few days when traveling to save space. Blackberry, I'm out!

KJ, that's another thing: they changed it to look like an iPhone! I was used to the Storms and how they felt in my hand. They were heavy. Now, I have this fragile piece of hardware that is going to slip through my fingers if I sneeze.

That was a good thing, I guess, because it got me prepared for an iPhone. I got my Otter Box immediately. My husband gave me an iTunes gift card for Christmas. I made him a steak, went to the App Store and never came out.

I am POed that another app has been discontinued. And this one is for the public library. They support everyone! My credit union, QVC, Audible and my company have said BYE to BB. I'm with you...I'm OUT!
