I went through a horrible round of tinnitus. I thought my life would never be the same. I started to reduce exposure to loud noise, found out I had a major blockage in one ear (had that fixed), and tried not to stress over it. For the most part it is gone but just thinking about it I think I hear ringing. Be kind to your ears, because there can be irreparable damage done in this noisy modern world. I hope this resolves for you. It can.

I also suffer with 24/7 tinnitus. I decided that even though my hearing loss was minimal, I'd go with hearing aids that provide some relief, but they also have a special tinnitus masking program.
Check out ata.org for some of the best info about tinnitus.

I've had tinnitus for many years now. Sometimes it sounds like cicadas buzzing, other times it's a high pitch. I try to keep my stress levels low, meditate, exercise and eat right. All that helps me deal with the tinnitus.

I have had the ear ringing for about 6 months now, I tend to notice it inside more and especially when I try to fall asleep. I do have the Bioflavanoids and need to start using them

Jean, what brand would you recommend? Thank you.

I also have tinnitus and have had it for years. I've never been told about bioflavanoids but may try them after reading about them here.

Mine gets louder when I'm sick. My ears just scream at me.

I've read/heard already that it is a sign of mineral deficiency. I suppose there can be several causes, but just to be on the safe side, make sure you are getting the proper nutrients. Some suggest zinc, magnesium, B vits....etc. (Doctors say we need way more magnesium on a daily basis.)
Lots of things can sap you from food nutrients, including exercise and medications.

My ear doctor told me that it could be from eating too much salt (which I don't do). He didn't say anything about a mineral deficiency. Certain drugs can cause it, too.
