O/T-Phone photos alert

I don't own a smart phone, and many of you probably already know this if you own one. I think it applies to iPad too. Apparently, a photo taken of say, your child, can be tracked by anyone to its location. Thereby, the child's school, home, whatever, can be easily pinpointed, like a GPS on the photo if uploaded to the Internet. Hope that made sense.
